I hope everybody is okay. I know I called every member of my family. Just so you know, it is the front page of all the papers here in Portland, and is on every tv channel. People all over the country are thinking of you...

I can't even imagine traffic without that bridge. I drove it every day going to school at the U...verey scary.

But, I will say that the true side of Minnesotans came out. Lots of stories about people who were hurt themselves helping, and staying with strangers while they were in pain. Lots of heart...

I missed it by 15 seconds, just went over it. When we were sitting on it I was alarmed by the way it was swaying and bobbing up and down. Finally traffic started moving again, we exit onto washington and i look back but there is no traffic behind us. I thought that was odd. Took about 20 mins to hear what was going on. I was walking up to the dome to see the twins game. Never made it inside.
