I dont think that they got scared away they just dont come to sl any more. i check this place everyday and then i check clubxb.com and scikotis.com also. but at least i still check sl aswell

 

yeah... you should see how many people that live here in MN that havent even seen the PM's i sent them about saturday... people just dont come...

thats why we need to get meeets going again... we need to bring everyone back together... hopefully this saturday will kick it back inbto gear

 

i hope if not josh now that im in the club you and i can work to gether till the hmfic gets her from school

 

definently... jon is going to be sending me some more club cards sooon when i do ill get you some... that will be at least one thing we can do to get us more well known

 

The fliers for Asylum came in today. We'll get cards and fliers to you...promise.

 

You guys should really hit up some of the dealerships. I know Maplewood was always willing to help with meets and stuff. See if they would be willing to give a scikotics card to every owner that would be interested in meets, talk to them about getting a meet going or even just mention to see if they are telling people about the site....mention how good it is for them to tell custoemers as they can reate the exp and people check out the dealer ratings to see where they should go all the time. Just some of my ideas as it really is sad how dead this board is and not one dealership is one here anymore. Since I do not have a Scion it is harder for me to step up and say anything but if anyone wants help or ideas I still know some of the people at the dealerships that I might be able to help out. Heckers is a good one too...they have not always been the best when it comes to Scion but they would get behind a meet or something like that. Try every dealership in town as you do not have to be loyal to any dealerships as no one is doing anything right now! So...that ends my rant!

ok, so I don't intend to sound crass, but I seem to recall this scion lifer stating that this would happen. Sorry, this sort of thing just doesn't seem to work out in Minnesota. seasonally we have just too many things going.

I check the boards EVERY day. I also have a habit of checking xatuner daily also. just because we don't post, does not mean that we are not here.

Sadly the 20th is triple booked. My son has a scouting event at ValleyFair. simply put BLOOD FAMILY wins over SL family, or xatuner family any time.

I have no intent on slighting anybody... but this seems to be an xB slanted site here regionally, that is. I still smile and wave as allways.
Hope I'm still welcome after this.....

BTW the CAI is in and if I ever take my foot out of the throttle, i believe my mileage will go up.....header is next.........

 

it will just take some work.. thats all... nothing works out if there is no effort put into it... and thats what im trying to do here... im doing my share to bring us back together, an di hope tht others will follow allong aswell... of course you will still be welcome in the future... honestly i belive that most of the people in this region who buy xA's are people who would not care about this sort of stuff... so yeahi can see y xB's would be the majority... but i think that should be all the more reason for you too be active, to show other xA owners what kind of stuff there missing out on... but dont worry about not being able to atend saturday... i understand your situation... there will be many more meets in the future!

Glad to see my note was taken well. I hope to order my header in the next couple weeks. I am still researching, price, quality, and happy customer stories. Any sugestions would be great. I was mildly infatuated with the ceramic coated header..... But how far do ya go? I'm beginning to think that it's a little bit o' snake oil ....

Maybe just a stainless.....
BTW, when time comes for the rest of the exhaust, I REALLY don't want to sound like those fartcanned Hondas, but want the Full Exhaust package, any tips...
