I'm putting my old springs back in my car and was wondering if anyone knew somewhere cheap to get them installed in or around the Hopkinds, SLP, Edina area. Everywhere I check people are not cool and want me to spend $450 or more. Even more they say they "don't put in other springs." WTF. I'm putting back the original stock springs...geez. I would do them myself but I feel more comfortable with someone that has done it before, plus, don't I need spring compressors to get the struts out of the front ones.
If someone is nice enough to help me do this I'd probably pay them.

when i put mine on i had midas use their compresor to take off and put on my springs....gave the guy 40 bucks...think about something like that....

 

If you don't find anybody right away check the MNSC board, too. There are lots of people that know people. There's even a guy who will do alignments for $20.

 

mnsc is a good place to find a deal or discount. Somone on there might even have air tools and offer to help.

If that doesnt work, try Bass Zone aka BZ 1 2 or 3

What springs you taking out and putting in?
I want to go lower then the trd springs, so if you have somthing else I may be interested in buying them.

You dont need spring compresoers, but they make the job extremely easy. I wouldnt do it without them. but have lol and it sucked.

I didnt realise who this was lol. Why are you taking the springs out? Will you be selling them, or are they in bad shape?

 

i am doing the same to mine, putting in the stock springs. i am doing my own. its easy

my springs are sagging, so i am wearing tires on one side.

 

Does it affective the driveability? I am not bucking you, just curious.

 

it pulls to the side of the sagging spring, It makes the camber more negative, and a car pulls to the side that has the most negative camber (if both sides are negative )

 

I drive on some bad/back roads and have lots of road trips coming up (not to mention the deer my fiance ran over and busted up my bumpers). Plus I had some snow plowing last winter and don't want to do any more damage to lovely box. ;(
