The show was great! I was glad to see that most of the turnout was scions.

the raffle for the scion stuff imo was a little FUBAR, (example i saw a guy walk away from the prize area with no less than 8 things and only saw him go up to the guy pulling tickets 2 times? When they were calling numbers i was right up there, i wouldnt have missed it) Did winning once let you take as much stuff as you wanted? When confronted about it i heard him say he bought alot of tickets and was winning that many times, with luck like that i would have been buying powerball tickets and not wasting my money on raffle tickets. I understand it was for a good cause and all and everybody had a fair chance for their ticket to be pulled but it was a long drive to see stuff like the above reference happening when i was with people who could have actually used the stuff being given away. Sorry i had to get so negative, its a rare occasion that i go this far. Other than that it was nice.

well glad to hear that most of you guys enjoyed yourselves. we were glad to have you here.

everyone is going to have their opinion, but i really don't see a need to complain about somthing like a raffle. the world isn't perfect, and never will be. but we tried our best to please everyone involved. i thought we did fairly well....i guess not.

You are right, it is just my opinion, not once did i ever have to get out my Scion key like was posted a few pages back. I was just upset to see some people walk away with xB's full of stuff and alot of people go home empty handed (i did win something by the way, so my ranting is not because i personally didnt get anything). It just wasnt what I was lead to believe it was going to be.

Thanks Adam and Team Toyota for the Great Show...

First time showing instead of observing...so that was really chill...thanks for all of you guys and girls who said positive things about the viniati kit and my car...Thanks a lot and hope to you guys again...

In regards of the raffle could be better by having more TC parts...specially door sills...because I won a Scion XB spoiler but I own a TC !!!!!

Adam can I come to the dealership and trade in the spoiler for Scion TC door sills or other accessories?!?! let me know and thanks....!

Also...the AM Stereo Crew painting in acrilic paint, what did you guys do with the painting...my car was next to them the whole time and i wanted to see the end product...That painting was Sweet!

I went home completely empty handed - not a single raffle ticket was pulled in the 2000+ Numbers... I gave the little kid my tickets like he asked. I think they were put into a different bag.

Some people bought just as many tickets as I did and won 2+ times. I know it's random but no tickets being called over 2000? I know tons of people bought tickets after me with higher numbers.

what is the website for the pics? thanks to all the team toyota members. putting a show on is no easy task. im not going to complain about the raffle because the money did go to a childrens charity. i wish there were dealers like you in my neck of the woods that cared about the scion owners and not just boosting their month end #s.

I hear ya krdshrk! I thought that the numbers drawn were a little odd too.

It was a nice show with nice cars on a nice day but it was definitely different than I expected... no airstream, you had to buy your chance to hopefully get the giveaways, and I too thought showing my key would've done something.

I understand that if you had money to buy a million tickets, you had a better chance than people like me who barely brought enough money for lunch. Thems the odds. But the flyer didn't say "raffle," it said "giveaways." Kind of different. I won't argue semantics, but I will say I would've brought more cash to a raffle! When I did win one, I was trying to figure out why I got to pick one thing after seeing several people walk away with 3 or 4 things per trip, with multiple trips. meh. But what ever happened to the truck full of stuff that was never given away???

Don't get me wrong, it was a great show and obviously a lot of hard work, there's just some things that could've been explained or done differently IMO. Especially this late in the "scion giveaway feeding frenzy" when we've seen what works and what doesn't. And I just feel bad that all the people that could've "made their stock scions ready for the next show" as implied, will now be buying the accessories from megawinners on ebay.

On a different note... nice pics everyone! :D

the show was ok, but not as good as last year when Kevin wrxb held the show

as for the raffle the highest # i heard was 0700 and 0699, what was that all about ?

I was # 2148 - 2300 and something, I understand the more u buy the better the chances but come on !!

Just goes tio show that it REALLY is WHO u know!

too many REPEAT winners and too many FIVE FINGER DISCOUNTS

I personally saw ia group of people TAKING MANY boxes of stuff, and they didnt even need the stuff, their cars were MAX OUT !!!!

didnt seem right, but I guess thats howcertain people ROLL

i guess thats how their cars are MAX OUT

it was fun, saw alot of friends had a good time, BUT the raffle SUCKED!!!!

I know I'm not tha POPULAR in the car show events, but its only because I speak my mind

diffnently NOT going next year

I thought TEAM TOYOTA was better than that, I guess not

i should have listen to KEVIN WRXB when he said it was going to be SHADY AS HELLL!!!!

wow. you guys are freakin rediculous. all you do is complain about what you didn't get and what everyone else got. yes there were numbers called in 2000s, but then again, you will post what makes you look better.

if you look at the point of the car show (to raise money for charity) we tripled what they raised 2 years ago. as far as give aways. just between cash and prizes there was over 11k.

i just don't see how you can say that the show was "shady as hell." i bet you would have changed your tune if you won the xbox or one of the four ps2s.....

ohh and btw scion swaped out the airstream trailer for 3 of their tour cars.

drama. this is why i try not to come on to sl. this is all it is

to those that enjoyed the show, thanks for coming out. i also have some extra parts left over, if there is anyone that didn't get somthing but needs something...pm me and i'll see if i have it. no i don't have anything for the tC...sorry.

Must say I agree with alot thats being said. I also fell the raffle was a joke. I don't mind giving my money to the kids, thats great, but also would of been nice to leave there winning something. Thing that ____ed me off was the 1 or 2 people who were able to grab whatever they wanted to, and only won once or twice. There was one person there who made trips back and forth the whole time they called numbers. It was said there would be stuff handed out to those who had a key, yet I had a key, spent 20$ on tickets and still left with nothing. Just should of been handled better or watched over more closely. For as much stuff you guys had and only 30 some scions there, alot of people walked away with nothing. Besides that the show was great, you guys had a good turnout, and raised alot of money. The art that was being done was also cool. Congrats to those who won.

OK,

first off, there were NO #'s called out in the 2000s

thats just one thing

I know a bunch of people were watching 1 person repeattedly going up and grabbing stuff, that is until one of the TEAM guys say it then backed a truck up and put the rest of the stuff in the bed of the truck his excuse was " I SPENT $ 100 ON TICKETS AND ADAM KNOWS ABOUT IT ! "

secondly it was for a GOOD cause, and I am glad we collected alot of $$$$$, and if I would have won an XBOX or a PLAYSTATION 3 or whatever, I personaly would have DONATED it to the YMCA, I myself am not the GREEDY

and as for being freakin rediculous, because I dont KISS ___ and I'm not a BALL WASHER, what I say doesnt matter?

I'm all for the car shows i LOVE them, I LOVE seeing tricked out cars, trucks, bikes, hell even PINK cars

But when I see something like this happen SO Fing blatantly in front of everybody it makes me SICK, and makes me want to STOP going to car shows

That is NOT what it is about, its about having fun and hanging out with other people who have the same desiree to modify greatly or to even have a gorgous stock car

it not about screwing other people, makeing fun of their car, or putting someone down for their ideas or choices of the modifications that they did

I heard ALOT of bashing of certain cars and I was not that impressed by the BASHERS rides either

we need to refocus

get back to what we LOVE, our cars

I am in no way pointting fingers to anyone, but we have to look at what is happening and fix it before we lose total control

amd beleive me I dont post anything to make me look good, its just the truth

some people just dont want to hear the truth

and it SHOULDNT be about how much $$$$$$$$$ that they were handing out to put on the show, it should be about the cars in the show

to many people put price tags on everything to make it seem that much better, you dont have to blow smoke up my ___ or bribe me to go to a show, I go because I love it

Just wanted to tell everyone that if you saw me win multiple times...it's because i truely won because of the raffle tickets I bought. The raffle wasn't rigged, I gave my tickets to the same little kid everyone else did. I went up and exchanged some things when more stuff was put out because originally there wasn't a lot of stuff laid out but i NEVER took anymore stuff than the number of tickets I won with. I have a STOCK car and all those parts are going on MY stock car...not my BFs....he doesn't need anything else. I'm sorry others didn't win. I didn't know that they weren't going to give away all the items either and I thought more people would've won. Maybe things weren't stated clearly on the advertisement or at the show. Glad I was able to help out a good charity though. My BF and I donated $65 on tickets and we felt truely lucky to win anything. The main thing is I had fun just like I always do just looking at the cars and meeting new people and chillen with people I've seen before.

And on a side note...to all the HATERS that were talking crap about cars, car clubs or people....just stop...it's ridiculous and now my BF is thinking about selling his car so thanks.

I don't mind giving the money to charity, but after spending $20 on the show and another $20 on raffle tickets and a half pretzel + popcorn, I feel a bit gypped. No raffle ticket numbers were even close to mine, and I know some people who spent as much as I did on raffle tickets who won 2x or more.

It would have been nice to win some xA or xB parts (Though I can't use them on my car)... and it would have been great to win the Xbox 360 or PS2 or Ipod (even though I just bought a 360, have had 2 ps2's and don't even touch my iPod)... but walking out of there completely empty-handed after dropping $40 was disappointing - especially when it was touted that there would be giveaways like crazy, not a raffle that you had to buy tickets for.

It's all for a good cause so that takes some of the bite off, but still... with so much stuff to apparently give away for free, taking nothing home just tends to sting.
