The suspension usually ends up eing a hybrid of sorts between the go fast and the exterior depending on what kind of suspension and the uniqueness is one of the things bonus points can get kicked in for but we will see what happens at the next shows

 

you want to explain this one from the first show? why interior was blank and that it does not add up then?

what about the car you guys missed last night? i think you should re-consider doing shows or look into doing it more professionally.

 

Lol as ar as I know onlyone person got their sheet back soo I dont know who screwed with you, and as for the one person that got missed I hav been missed at shows so havent friends of mine, its simple, its called you or someone around your car that you know can go tell the judges that you didt get judged yet, I alwayshave someone hanging around my cars to make sure they all get judged and people take turns, so whoever messed with you you can take it up with them, because all the forms I have are totaled out to the side for each part and then added at the bottom and that 5 isnt even close to any of the 5's in any form on any of the papers I have, sorry but someone messed with you..

 

no cause i'm am the one who asked for it at the first show you wanna see me i'll bring you the a copy cause the original is mine. just showed me how bad the judging was i'm sorry cause when i got i asked why i had no interior score they said i don't know we didn't judge your car cause the guys that did were not there at the table from your team.

 

Wouldn't have been hard for just anyone to grab one and put it on our table because at the first show we were supposed to all get scion shirts that the dealership ended up keeping for themselves soo we didnt stick out as hey tats a judge thats not and this time we did

 

they came right down the line of cars at that show then. i tried to be nice about it but still. not giving out score sheets this show because of that one i just posted is kind of a waste still. thats a general rule of thumb to get the score sheet to see where you need to improve.

 

But like I have said every show I have gone to someone has had something go wrong or someone wasn't happy etc, I went to fun ford the other week, one would assume thats a professional show and the judge ran over and grabbed the papers off a line of cars I was in without judging the cars and i saw him from about 20 30 feet away while i was talking to someone and asked the guy if he had any questions about my car because he obviously didnt even look at all of it just running over and grabbing the sheet of the window and he snapped back at me and continued on grabbing them without judging and I paid 55 bucks to get into that show and he is apparently a professional judge soo I don't know what to tell you stuff always happens somewhere that someone doesnt like or doesnt feel was fair and you can make the choice of whether you want to attend another one or not... but atleast you didn't hae to spend 15 dollars to enter and then money on food to end up getting screwed over like most people that wnt to import wars at the dragway I mean I still got a trophy and I still felt like I was getting screwed

 

I've never once been able to see or get bac a score sheet from a show when requested the most I have ever been able to get is like a 5 second comment about the car from a judge if that and I think anyone that had a question after trophies was able to come up and talk to someone that wanted to I mean we were there until 10:30

 

yeah i heard about import wars that's a whole separate issue from this though. if your trying to make your show better. then step up the bar and fix the issues. if you know where some our than try to make them right at yours i guess is what I'm saying. new england dragway under estimated their turn out so that was there fault and could hurt them later. maybe you should consider changing your judging sheet from something so vague to the national scoring sheet. which i know is a little more in depth and harsh but covers all the sections. how about a Subaru category since you have enough showing up it seems? just some suggestions.

 

Last show there was 1 subaru and 1 hyundai and then a mazda or 2 that got put in import other and there were a bunch of hondas and there were alot of people with 2 door and 4 door hondas saying they were coming that poof didn't come, so I mean the numbers of each class seem to differ every show but thats why weended up getting almost double the number of trophies this time to try and cover that, just don't want to have everyone at the show walking away with a trophy because it kind of defeats the purpose of a show being judged IMO and I personally like seeing what class someone won etc on he trophy rather then class 1st class 2nd etc I am not claiming that I am a professional putting on shows or that any of my guys are, just a learning curve to get around until everything is nailed down

 

ok this is getting out of hand! i judged the cars! i didnt pay any attention to the go fast part u cna see the sheet doesnt even have it! to be completly honest with u the dude with the chrome engine bay! kenneth with the silver tc had u beat by like 9 pts! his sound system 7 monitors wii system verticle doors! nothing on his car was stock except for back seats and color!!!!!!!!!! he had u beat hands down! the girl with the tc had an incredible sound system doors custom paint bigger rims all leds all fiberglass no back seats and was all out! u came in 3rd! it woulda been a joke if i gave u over them! honestly u and ur scionrg need to relax! im sorry these people dropped alot of loot into there cars! i am gonna judge the same! u might not believe in doing things like that to ur car! it looks good the way it does! but they have had alot more in there car then u do to be honest! im sorry u feel the way u do but its the truth and anyone on here who puts money in there car like kenneth or the girl will back me! LIKE LOOK AT THERE CARS AND TELL ME URS SHOULD HAVE BEATEN THEM! if u think so im sorry! u put alot of time and effort in ur car dont get me wrong but they have way more mods! sorry bro

 

I know what they had and hats off to them they had real nice cars and they deserve what they got all im saying is that the "go fast"IMO shows a bias.thats all im saying and you should rivise your judging format

 

find the ncca rules and use those guidelines to build a better judging score sheet. my issue was not so much with judging of last night as it was with we couldn't get are sheets. since the reason was people will _____. thats going to happen no matter how you look it. i wanted to see mine to compare it from the first one since the first show was my real issue but i stayed quite about till now i'm sorry guess i should have scanned it sooner and sent you guys a pm about it. all i'm saying is you want to make it a better show and free well here are things that should get fixed. i've already posted all of them. for subaru i know for a fact there was at least 4 there at the show that i saw. maybe if a category was made for them you could get more.

 

I agree - try the NCCA rules and scoresheets. Definitely a better score sheet and set of guidelines to follow.

Also - looking at that sheet scan... how does that add up to 5 points total?

 

ok so last time i checked import wars did not do this and u guys paid 15 to get in! this is a free show! FREE i dont wanna hear anything more! u dont like it dont go thats all i got to say! honestly i feel the go fast part is ok to have......... coming from someone with a s/c idc what u say bout it! there are hondas and acuras out there that prize themselves on all motor and fast engines! k20 series engines all power to these honda peeps! like get over it for real! u dont like it dont go simple

 

dexter_5000 , I think 5 pints may be a little too less. However, can you list out your mod? I'd love to see. I have been to many shows and my mod was targeting points. I can't do 2 tons or air brush on my car since NYC ppl will scratch me on the second day.... sigh.

Free show or not, people would still like to be judged fairly. ScionVIP shows are free and people criticize the judging there. There are plenty of free shows that are judged properly and have ZERO complaints.

 

no one has an issue with your choices of the last show. the issue was the first show didn't my score sheet was not judged properly. this show we were not allowed to get are score sheets. thats where i have an issue. your reasoning was people will complain.

the cars that placed deserved where they placed i'm not trying to beat them. i build my car for me not judges. still try to make improvments on stuff i'd like to while showing.

 

I want to make sure everyone stays cool, but I do have a few concerns:

I appreciate the show being free, but I'd rather not see that presented as an excuse for judging inconsistency. I've also been to other shows where "free food" meant free food, and not coupons to McD's. I can't handle fast food so well, so I'll just have to remember to pack a lunch and dinner next time (I would have done it if I knew my options beforehand, but I had to wake up at 5 AM the morning after a brutal week at work, so I had zero prep time). If you can do a free water bottle for every entrant, that would be excellent.

I primarily go to the shows to meet the people, see how they've enhanced their cars, and get some ideas for things I'll put on. My personal motto is "every enhancement has a valid purpose" (too bad that doesn't get me any show points). I also want to keep it tame, since it's my daily driver, and I don't feel like getting it stolen every month. I can appreciate that I'm not going to get judged as highly as those who have dropped months of work and thousands of dollars into their cars, but I'd like to see some better consistency. I don't accept "you're way out of their league" as a valid excuse for not being consistent on all judging.

I'd like everyone from ScioNRG, AfterShock, and all others to relax, put this behind us, and try to do it better the next time.
