xB models with a manual transmission will have an MSRP of $15,650, an increase of $1,620 or 11.5 percent. The MSRP for automatic transmission models will be $16,600, an increase of $1,770 or 11.9 percent. The new xB will reach Scion dealers in early May.

I do have to say I think I love that center gauge cluster. But I hate red lighting. It's a car, not a submarine. Can't wait to see it in person!

^what??? What's all this crap about them being available in May then??? It's not just for California again like the first old ones, is it?

so who's this snazzy black tC I see in the mornings on mt zion in york? a body kit I'm not familiar with, some sort of grille, wheels, spoiler....need I go on? I crossed him in shame yesterday because I was on naked steelies but today the moons were back on so I could hold my head up in pride. haha.

And not that anyone cares, but I'm excited because my car no longer sounds like a giant typewriter because I silenced the moons! After a year of not being able to sneak up to meets lol and people politely telling me there were rocks in my wheels , the problem is fixed! I used about a tube of caulk in them and that seems to have done the trick. I hope it lasts for a while. :D

and then there was one.

anyway....

I'm new to this whole PA inspection/emissions thing. Where I've lived there was either no such thing or it was $5 cash at a state emissions facility and that was it. so how much does this typically cost for both? I keep seeing coupons for $25-$35 dollars but then Diehl tells me it's $75 (45 emissions, 30 inspection). I was just going to get it done with my free oil change next week but I guess it's not worth it.

At a normal shop (non-dealer) it typically runs in the 50 dollar range for both inspection and emissions without any special offers. Some of those cheaper places i suspect might try to tell you this or that needs replaced but since your car is so new with no engine or suspension mods they cant even make things up that would fail you unless your headlight bulb or fuse is blown (and thats a 5 dollar fix if they do it!).

I hope that is not true, back in '04 i had to wait for them to hit this side of the country, and i really wanted to get one bad (not bad enough to drive cross country but still bad ) . So i know how people are going to feel waiting!

We're getting the new xB at dealerships in PA the weekend of May 18th, so I'd assume that means most of the US will be seeing them released in May.

^good. At least I won't see one on the lot on my bday and rush in the next day to buy one like I did my xB last year. I hope.

news flash... a tC owner waved first to me when I was out over lunch. trd wheels, exhaust and probably other stuff I didn't notice. It was the bright moment in an abysmal day. :D If I know you and didn't recognize you, my apologies. I was out to lunch when I was out to lunch. lol I don't even remember what color it was. silver?

Crimeny, I almost ran over the curb and into a sign gawking at the black tC this morning! It's little blue headlights and gaping grille are just hypnotic. It definitely makes leaving 30 minutes early for work a little more tollerable.

There's a new white xA with temp tags in the building next to me so I've finally got something to talk to my neighbors about! haha

this might just drive her back to a beetle 'vert.

They got the new xB out in portland oregon yesterday. My dad's friend went to look at them and decided to look for a used old one instead. there were 2 old ones on the lot with about 1k miles on them.... $20k!

Anyone know yet if I can swap out the instrument cluster from the new into the old??? I can dream can't I?

I knew the west coast would get them early again guess we east coasters all have to wait another 2 weeks . Anything is possible with some work and of course . 20k for a used one? stock? I guess now that they are history the value just went up I wonder what a BSP with 38000+ miles and a sandpaper front end will go for these days
