hmmm. I took it for a spin today after work. I like it. But I don't love it. Totally. Yet.

i know i saw felix a.k.a the cat out there with you
^ haha, yeah, felix got to me first. no worries for you though, I just wanted to drive the thing. I was going to ask for you but then I realized it's better I waste his time than yours!
I thought it felt more like what it is... a bigger box with a tC motor. plenty of pep, no problems pulling out in front of people! :D I didn't give it the ultimate test though... merging. It seemed rev-happy. I don't know, it's a nice drive... smoother ride and more power so technically better than the old one. It feels more like a car to me inside - I sat a little lower and the vaulted cathedral ceiling is a bit lower too. I do love the center gauge cluster - too bad it won't fit in mine.
That spoiler on it is a piece of work!
I did run across a few guys in a tC that were looking me over pretty good. I had to wave. :D
I didn't really answer your question did I?
I think I could talk my dad into replacing his Element with one. I'll be interested to hear what everyone thinks!

i just got mine done about a month ago on george st in york. the place is called ozone i belive. they use lummar tint. i got 15%
all around and it cost me $135 with a lifetime warranty.
has anyone here ever seen a silver CF hood in person? Is it silvery or grey? different in a good way or different in a stupid way? the pictures I saw weren't on a car and weren't good enough to tell what it really looked like.
I was stopped by a State Police officer and he said anything less then 40% visible is illegal. The tint laws in PA are very subjective and can be interpreted differently depending on the situation... Anyways, I didn't get a tint ticket, he just noted it on my citation for 'failure to obey a traffic device'...(long story!)
I had a guy do my tinting here in Harrisburg. $125 + lifetime warranty. This was almost a year ago so the price may have gone up. He's located near the Harrisburg East Mall.

^hey, I remember you! It's been awhile! go ahead and tell us that "long story" rjj! We've got nothing but time and sympathetic ears. lol
It seems weird that something like tint is so subjective but I believe it. To my thought process, it should be very scientific.... 'x' amount of light gets through in a controlled environment, or it doesn't. pass or fail.
Anywho... thanks for the suggestions everyone! It's good to know there are a lot of trustworthy suppliers around. and yeah, I just saw the thread asking about tint in the lancaster area. I'm little slow to view the boards sometimes.
