ouch that sucks man. was it one of the poles at the end of the pump? i saw a lady do that at the bank going through the atm. ya she was in an old gmc van. dude she hit the thing so hard and at such an angle the ___ end of the van kicked out and to the side like 3 feet. she creamed the side back doors. she got out looked at it and drove off like it never happened. crazy.

 

yea, a buff would be the first try.... how deep do they feel?

Does anyone realize how much easier getting gas would be if those stupid polls weren't there, they could have made them smaller or plastic but there whole intention is to absolutely destroy any car that hits them

 

They are pretty deep.....and there's places where the paint chipped right off.....and though it's not too noticeable there is a few dents. And yes......it was one of those fu@$ing poles. I'm trying to get it fixed without having to claim it on my insurance.

 

I'm with bruce.....personally I would grab some goof off and try and remove the white paint..then see where you stand....try buffing the spots out my concern would be the side skirt thou as it is plastic...dunno what your looking for as far as the repair outcome but you could do this yourself pretty simply too...good luck thou

well im hoping to get my car back today from the shop. I just called and they are painting it as we speak. Then on to the heat lamps. And when I get her back she is sitting in my heated garage at work for the rest of the day. Anyone that looks at her wrong is gonna die.

 

Good. Stick a bandaid on her for fun.

Well... painting the bodys going to be put on hold because I've got some other things to paint in the spring and slap on the xB. (Thanks again brian!!!) Sooo I'll be buying gallons of bsp paint to do the damn thing in april I'm thinking

 

nice, and if you need a hand with the fiberglass let me know. I can get some rage gold body filler and we can make it all peerrrttty

 

I'll def keep u in mind trust me because I'm not too experienced at fiberglass.

 

I'm looking to get a cleaning kit for my car, soap and water hasn't really been giving my car a shine, can anyone get me a link to some spray on polish, Sam, remember that stuff that Jamie was spraying on before the car show, that's what I was looking to get and some wheel cleaner, people at Auto Zone have no idea what I was talking about errrr lol, any help would be appreciated.

 

ummm just get Mother's claybar and detailing spray (both comes in a box together at walmart) and that'll do the job. You don't need fancy stuff to make you car look good. Frank's got some good tire cleaner I've seen him use at shows.

 

mothers is good. it brings out the shine in old beat up box. when i get the time to wax it. they got some good wheel cleaner too! spray on rinse off. you can through some good old fashon elbow grease in there too!

 

lol def do that and get some good wax... mothers or ice.... work great to get the shine... whater and soap wont give you the shine you need to clean wax and buff babby!! have fun with it and to all HAVE A GREAT THANKSGIVING CT PEEPS!!!!
