well i have a big street, 25 mph limit and I was going to see how fast I can get my car hence the name Speed Run, I got up to 60-62 one night and I wasn't even trying anything I thought that the snow would make a dramatic effect lol but it was coming down too hard.

i hear that saying all the time, played out.......... nothing is played out if you do it right. and plus its your car, who cares what other people think. ya know. obviously we all want our cars to look good, but first you gotta really like it yourself then worry about what other people think. but yes with two toned i like it. eventually my car will be black on the bottom and tcm on the top. maybe change up the lines a bit, so it's not just a straight line.........get creative with it. read back a few pages i posted a pic of what i think i'm gonna do to mine............

yeah or get caught.......as for played out... I agree its your car do what you want....when you start building your car for what others want then the fun is gone......do what you like....remember that your Scion is a part of you...and designing and building it is your style and creative mind.

 

yeah i agree with jeremy and frank... people who say something is "played out" are only trying to put your car down by coming up with the first excuse they can think of. as long as you like your car and what you've done to it - more power to ya it's going to be different and creative and that's what counts!!!

and if you don't want it to be plain jane two toned then add something small to make it a little bit different... like a little design or squiggle or something i dont know haha

 

In my opinion if you paint ur hatch black it would blend in with the blacked out panorama roof then a carbon fiber hood, ive seen a couple people do this, it looks good.

frank i'm sure you've had people say to you that the fab kit is played out, right? i had probably 5 people say it to me when i did the diy on how to delete the lisence plate indention on club xb. for me i'm just like ya know what, whatever, i like it and if you don't then look somewhere else. i'm not doing any of this for you.

 

Yea, do whatever you want to your car as long as you like it, there may be alot of people that have that but this is a nation wide forum, i know if i did any mods to my TC it will be original because all the Tc's in my area are completely stock.

Yea, would it be best to put them on and then get the lowering springs or do the springs first then the wheels and tires?

 

Do springs first. It would look so weird with nice rims and not a drop.

 

Why wouldn't be better if I did the rims first then springs because if the car is too lowered then i'm kinda screwed if I can't get the wheels on, i'm looking at a 1.5'' drop all around
