Default Meet: 4/5/09 Bear Mountain NY

*NEW

For directions, there is no real address for this place. Yes, I know it doesn’t make sense……

The best bet is if you have a GPS. Under “Points of Interest”, search Bear Mountain State Park. That should be in all TomTom’s (since I have one). If there is nothing there, the next best bet is to search Bear Mountain Bridge. That will take you about 1/3 mile away. One or the other should be in every GPS.

We’ll meet in the back parking lot (The one you see at the end of the video above). I THINK parking is $10. So bring a little money. I figure after a while, we can all take our cars and have a nice drive to the summit. It’s looking to be a nice day.

When: Apr 5th, 2009

Time: 1pm till whenever

Where: Bear Mountain State Park http://nysparks.state.ny.us/parks/info.asp?parkID=55
Rt 9W , Bear Mountain, New York 10911

Who's invited: It's a Toyota meet, but ANYONE is invivted, with ANY car. My meets are more to be a friend gathering then an actual "car" event.

Fee's: Last time I was there, there was a parking fee. I need to find out the latest on that.

I called up Bear Mountain officials and they said the summit will be opening to cars on April 1st. May as well hit it before the crowds start gathering in a few weeks
