EDIT: Well after help from everyone i got my windows tinted up here in rochester, ny. at The tint shop. www.tintshop.com . Total price was $215.00 (includes tax) for full tints. 38% front windows, 20% everywhere else! I like it.. dark enough but no cop trouble i hope :/ . Pics at bottem of page. Night time with snow so its hard to see tints. I dont have a before pic either so i wont be able to compare haha ... but I'll take pics when its not a BLIZZARD up here in the day time. ENJOY?!!!!!




I'm looking to get tints somewhere around Rochester and Syracuse. I got to RIT and dont mind driving to get them done.

On west henrietta road, theres a place called The Tint Shop. They do an awesome job and they give a student discount also so make sure you ask about it. Its like 5 min from rit.

P.S. i called them and they said its $209.00 for full tints and said its $20 dollars off because i called them and pre-booked my appointment. And then i'll pay once i get there. So is $189.00 too much for full tints? i've never gotten them before so i'm not sure on average price's but what has everyone else paid?

 

That sounds about right I got quoted $85.40 for just the fronts in 20%

haha thats because i must have set one of my preferences wrong so everytime I post on a topic it continues to tell me when a new post comes up. That and I have no life outside of cars and the girlfriend so I'm on here everynight haha.

I got some pics from right after i got the tints however it is snowing like crazy and dark so its hard to see kinda. I'll post them in a little....

 

Hard to see tint cuz its dark... i'll take better pics lwhen its nice out!

Yea i thought it was odd too. the place i went to only had like 4 colors of film for some reason. Thanks tho. I didnt want to dark in the front ones (cuz of NY and NJ laws), just enough to keep big truck lights and heat out of the car in the summer. It blends pretty well i think tho.

I thought that was a lot too but people by me told me that price is about right. i have lifetime warrenty too. But w/e i'm happy.
