NJ area LED swaps
If an xB owner could tally up the components that need reworking (forum articles would help greatly), I can figure out the material costs and work effort.
Goddimus was my first actual automatic install. The shifter lights are actually lit by an LED bulb, so I didn't have the part to replace it. I want to make sure i'm not in that position when I start doing xB's
Thanks in advance.

I was hoping to get more in by today, but lcled.com didn't ship my order UNTIL today (I ordered on tuesday). I'm all out of blue LED's and only have white available at the moment. I have a few hundred red, blue and whites showing up monday.
i havent looked but does the tc have a switch to turn down the brightness? Ive seen pics of blue, white, and red ....every color looks nice. Because they all look so nice I dont know what I want to do. ..i guess thats a good problem but its still a problem.
OK, I see my LED shipment is "out for delivery"...
I should have enough for 3 installs of all blue, all white or all red (or whatever combinations of the three).
I'm available pretty much any night this week after 6, or this coming sunday (have a morning appt then i'm heading out to the meet at the Palisades mall with another scion nut
All customers get complimentary while-you-wait entertainment via 50" plasma screen, Xbox 360 and a curious 4 year old girl.

Oh, and yes, squallheart
I got WAY better resistors
the Mouser 1/16th watt ones are awesome. They are SO tiny (like a fleck of dust) that you can just flush mount 'em right on the same solder pad as the LED itself, then use wrapping wire to run the traces.... no cutting of the button shrouds required!

Well, based on what I've seen, the AC console is a bulb swap... I would think anyone could do that, no soldering skills required there....
The only LED's I've read about are the 4 on a single gauge. Am i right?
