Pittsburgh Scion Owners
This is my take:
The thread is cool it gives us a chance to talk to other car owners and see what is going on. If a dealer wants to have a show to try and help pimp there products and we show up great. If people through out there they want to get together to show off our cars to the public at car cruises that is also a good thing.
BUT if a dealer asks us to show up for a "car show" to help them sell more cars I would at least expect to be compensated in some way (shirt, hat, dvd of shoot, etc. etc.)
If a group of us can get together and do a car cruise once and a while great.
The thing about clubs is the time and money you put into them. You get told about it if you have a life (kids, job, house, bills) and can't go to all of the functions. Then you feel the peer preasure to keep up with all the mods.
What I like about this forum is the free flow of information and the lack of preasure, we all have enough of that.

Well put Toolman.
You shouldn't feel like you have to belong to a specific club to hang out with everyone. It should be about the people and their cars, not the club they belong to or the stickers they have on their rides.
That's what is great about ScionLife, it's for everyone.

Oh well. Guess everyones opinion is off of mine. Sucks too, but what can i say, I tried. I just wanted to put something together with a name behind it so that we might be able to do more then just hang. But if that is what you all want there isn't a thing I can do. Thanks anyway.
Hey everyone, sorry I havn't been around. Been busy as hell at work with everything. Wanted to let you all know we've decided to cancell the show for the 18th and reschedule it for Sept. 22nd.. Since tunerwar is goin on we figured it would be best for the time being. Sorry to inconvenience anyone.
Hit me up with ideas and I'll continue to run them by Tim Dye. Thanks everyone
