Pittsburgh Scion Owners
thank you for the welcome amanda. i was active in maryland and definitely am looking to be active here in the scion community. hopefully i will get to know everyone and the pittsburgh chapter can get tings going again. i am considering starting my own club, but i want to get to know everyone first. so i wouldn't be doing that til springtime.

I would love to do that again, but I'm going to a wedding in D.C. this weekend and will be on the road then.
By the way my boy and I were talking about building a Rat Rod. I found were you can get a fiberglass body and chassis pretty cheap. We were thinking about painting it just like an original 32 ford coupe then weather it to make it look 80 years old. What kind of late model engine would you put in it. Remember it will be for a kid so don't say 350 small block. I'm thinking 4 cylinders. It will be a daily driver (with style).
It is worth your while to go. I went with Brian and Amanda one weekend. We had 4 Scions (small turn out but fun), my xB was parked next to a '29 Dusenburg all the blue hairs were stopping to see it while all the kids were stopping to see our cars. They must have had like 300 cars there when we went.
hmmmmm.... definitely worth thinking about the. not like i know of anything better to do. amanda, u going? i saw that you r out for this one toolman. u are going to where i just came from, the d.c. area.
