FYI in case you didn't know...

The Scion press conference to unveil the new scion concept car will take place today at 3:15 PM ET at the New York auto show. For those of us unable to attend, the event will be streamed live to the Scion.com website. Following the event, a video clip of the press conference will also be available for viewing at Scion.com.

 

I liked it, too. I also watched some others on youtube and they have some pretty neat ones.

Any more info on the CMU event? I met a girl at the bank that just bought the new XB. I want to get her to come to some of our events. She seems pretty cool. Its alway fun to get a new owner excited about their car and what they can do with it.

 

kinda lame compared to what they were putting out last year

i liked how it morphed between real and cartoon, like a kind new age rotoscoping type deal

this reminds me of a company that got its budget cut and had to be creative

 

Aww comon Steve you should know from a design standpoint that you can't keep doing the same thing. It gets old.

Yeah those old commercials are cool but they get old after sometime. So now they are doing a different approach. These also catch you eyes because you keep watching to see what is going to happen.

 

yea but the only thing that caught my eye was the 1-900 thing

but i dont know, it reminds me of the V-dub beetle commercial in a way

everybody seems to like it though, so maybe its just me

 

maybe you should watch the other ones. This is my least fav of them.

 

I'm still waiting for our car club prez to lock in details for the CMU show .... once we get documents and the go-ahead for a location, it should get rolling pretty quick...

truly a letdown

scion sales are down 16 straight months then they come out with this saying its sporty and fun

at least there now admitting that the XB2 is boring
