Tim, I've been meeting with the club board, and the school is giving us a hard time about getting a really nice venue.
right now, we might be getting the roof of the parking garage, which is actually pretty cool. but i have another meeting this saturday to really get venue down.
i actually talked to Jesus from spitzer in person on Monday about sponsoring the show, and he's really up for it, just gotta try to get his manager to OK it...

 

Is it the garage that overlooks the park? That would be cool.

it would be the one called the East Campus Garage, which is next to the football stadium/track/fields. but that location is not finalized, just an alternative... we're trying to get something with more visibility.

Dang it!!!! I switched my email and cause of it a package of mine got delayed cause the stupid people cannot read the memo area of paypal as to what color i ordered. Now it is going to be another week or so before I get it.

 

I am doing some similar things that John has done under the hood. In the back I am working with a guy to make it more of a tailgating/picnic car. I have got a new rack for the roof to get the chairs around.

I've got some lighting tricks that I'm going to do under the hood and some lights for the O.S. handle. I'm doing mine with L.E.D.s so they don't use that much power (kids will play). So to get as much light as John has with his cathode I need to use a bunch of them.
