well it's dumb to go somewhere that's so packed you can't even sit by each other, everyone might as well all go by themselves if you want a place like that.

 

I'm just talking in general. No matter every time i set up a meet someone always has something to say about it. Like oh pick another day or its to expensive or its too far. Jeremy always drives everywhere an i never hear him complain. well he might say something but he always shows up. It just gets fustrating sometimes thats all.

I can name a few movie places that do not get crowded... or if everyone thinks that crowding is going to be an issue than go to an earlier show.. not only will it be less crowded it will be cheaper! Thats just my opinion.

That's the fun of setting up meets and why I don't even try and do it anymore

The theater in Monaca sucks too, I've gone there a few times on the weekend only to go to another theater because the movie was sold out, it's really the only thing out there and everyone goes there.

I go to all the meets I'm off and I live just as far away as Jeremy does too, I just don't make a big deal out of it.

 

I say just someone should just pick a time and place to meet. If people can't make it then they can't. If they don't like how expensive or far it is then they don't have to go. Its impossible to please everyone.

 

Hey, just swinging by and seen there was a pgh scion topic.... Welp, umm... I got one? lol... 07 Scion tC... Currently not running though.... In the process of putting a custom turbo into it so its at the shop.

So how many people from pgh are actually on this topic?

 

All of us. There's a guy from AZ that used to live in Pgh that pops in every now and then but mostly we're all Pgh peeps.

 

I would say that we have at least 20 of us that show up to things on a good day.


On a side note...... I'm not going to argue the meets anymore.

 

Me neither. I guess there won't be a meet this weekend. I've given up on it, at least... or like, maybe we can do another CiCi's meet or some other kind of food. I know the whole movie idea has been shot down, so what about food.

 

I thought the whole movie thing was a god idea... but i won't be around this weekend anyway.

why dont you guys just meet up to hang out? Back in NY we use to meet up in some random parking lot just to hang out at this little chinese place every wednsday night, people would show up and just hang out. This was a weekly meet up and sometimes not everybody could make it but for the most part there was people from out group there every wednsday

it seems like up here there always has to be some kind of special meet where everybody ____es and moans about it being to for or it being a dumb idea, heres an idea why dont we just start meeting up at wild wings or where ever you want to go once a week, if you cant make it then ohh well too bad so sad, see ya next time it seems like everybody has a 9:00 bed time here too which sucks or else everybody could just meet up at 11 or 12 at night

Yes i tried this before! Things are going to change. I don't want to sound like a _____ but i'm actually tired of the complaining. Yes i love setting meets up. Even if i can not attend them. After the hoildays things are going to change in the Pitt area.

I'm going to set up a place that we can meet once a week if not every other week! Than i'm going to set up a place that we meet on the last Sunday of the month. If you can't make it than you can't we will eventually see you! Than when things come up that we want to go together to car shows.. etc than we can go with that. I know that this post will ____ people off and i'm sorry.

I know i can be pushy but lots of the people that come i have kept on them to come to things. Also maybe it would be a good idea to tone down some of our convos at some of the meets. Some topics which were funny at first are not funny anymore or make people feel uncomfortable. I feel that is why some people do not return.

I miss the old day where we all use to have fun an nobody complained. While we are on the subject of meets etc. One other thing that ____es me off is when Dan use to come into town or something was Scion sponsored. It seems like that is when people would only show up thinking they would get something for free. Thats not the way it is. Scion to me is not who is getting what for free or who has what done to the car. It is all about meeting everyone and having a good time!!!

 

What's the point of even going if everything has to be toned down? There's no fun in that, if I want something like that I'll go to my grandparents. Face it, that's how most of us are and if the other people can't take it oh well. What fun would it be if me, sean, and mandy toned everything down, since I just know you're talking about us.

 

So who feels offended anyways? The three of us want to know since it's such a big deal now.
