Sounds like a typical day at work for me.

So did you get a call yet? If not, I'm going to email the HR woman who is contact person for that position.

Well guys i popped my first cel. It was Catalyst System Efficiency below Threshold.

Which means .....

A) One or both of my O2 sensors is bad (hopefully)
B) I have a leaking/ cracked exhaust manifold
C) I need a new Catalytic convertor

If this is true i think its probably a leaking manifold, because i have a little bit of moisture coming from the gasket on the block, and also when i cold start my car, i can smell fumes real strong up near the FRONT of my car.

Im gonna wait a couple days and see if the code comes back. Im glad its still under warranty. And im glad i can reset the codes from my scan gauge. Even if i know its nothing bad, i get a pit in my stomach when i know my baby is sick.

Haha, I get that all the time... But I think mines from my spark plugs fowling out... ;-) I'm pushin too much air through and not enough gas... I'm going to buy those new uranieum based spark plugs. THey're supposidly the best out. If you look at one you can see why... That and I need a fuel managment and some 550cc injectors and I'll be set.

Hey ladiesman, where do you get those plugs, i though iridium was just about the best, especially at 10 bucks a pop. But i really doubt thats my case. However i have been noticing a slight decrease in torque lately, seems like when i really get on it, it doesn't react like it used to. I only have 70K on my car and have already changed the plugs at 35K which is supposedly way before necessary

^^ oh and another thing that worried me a little was that when i noticed th power loss, i immediately checked my MAF, and when i took it out, it had a bead of liquid on it. So i took it inside and let it dry for about 5 hours. and then put it back in. Its still dry now, but i just don't know what to think

It probably is your manifold as far as the code goes. You probably need a new gasket.

Just be wary if you are finding a lot of moisture inside the intake. Ram air setups will do that. Worst case senario is hydrolocking the motor which you obviously did not do. Just a little water will allow the motor to run but it is not good. There was a Xb with a ram air intake that sucked up some water, it ran but he had to replace his motor. Change your oil, if it looks like oil you are cool, if it looks like chocolate milk you are hosed. You might want to remove the ram air portion of your intake for the winter and rainy season.
