Sorry Brian I have to work next Friday night, but hoping to get off for 7/25 import tuner. Last night was the largest crowd of the season.

 

dang. how long do these events usually run until?
do they all end august or are there shows/meets/cruises that run in the fall as well?

I work the 25th, but I'm trying like hell to get transferred to day shift before then.

 

Every Friday night from April till Labor Day Weekend. Brian turned me onto them, they are a lot of fun easy to find and I can feed the kids and me for less than $20. Besides our monthly meets at Spitzer this is a cool thing to do and you get to see a lot of cars (100's) .

I have been in sunny Florida! :-)

Not one single day of rain! YAY. Its the first time I can say I didn't need a vacation from a vacation.


I'm going to be out on attending some stuff. Well at least my car will be. As some of you know I was in a little 4 car accident. The estimate is about 4,200 right now. Thats just for exterior, i'm crossing my fingers that nothing is internal. Right now i'm in the insurance battle of he said she said.

So once that is resolved (hopefully tomorrow) my car will be out for at least 15 days. Booo

 

I'm out for this Friday. I'll be away that night.

 

I finally got my hands on a copy of Wangan Midnight

 

What is that?

 

a manga series and video game series.

the wangan is a part of the shuto expressway in japan that is along the bay, and it's notorious for high speed racing (think 150 mph+) because of its long straightaways. there's a whole culture behind wangan racing that is comparable to the drift culture.

It's not bad so far, I'm only like 6 episodes into it though. I'd be farther through but I had to watch the last top gear episode twice last night. The new GT-R vs the Bullet train :D
