I would go new. You are seeing how well they will retain there value. I would also try and put more money down to get a 4 year loan vs a 5 year one.

As far as color I think the blue looks the best on a tC

I would definitely buy a STOCK standard transmission with you. NH Toyota does have a great deal with those oil changes and inspections, so that's a plus.

I however would not add in the pedestal spoiler to the sale, as I think the MSRP is over $400, and on eBay they're around $100 and come painted. Save the $300 (a month's car payment for you) and install it yourself. That's what my dad did. Yeah, it may be easier to just throw it on and finance it in, but in the long run, you're only jipping yourself. Don't buy any extra accessories. You can find each and every Scion accessory cheaper online than the dealer. Remember that.

With used, you might possibly be getting someone else's problems. Then again, it may be one heck of a car on the other hand. You really cannot tell. But also, factor in how that car was driven, aggressive? Granny? The best way to go period is to buy new out right. $298 seems like a manageable amount for a monthly payment.

And hopefully to sway your color choice - blue ribbon metallic is not a great color. it looks as though a girl should drive it (no offense). Silver is eh in my book. the tC doesn't look good in silver by any means. i was in your position twice, and both times i liked the SW, i just happened to want to roll balla status instead and got release series both times.

GL with the sale. sean will treat you right. and if he doesn't let me know. i will kick his a$$ for you.

blue ribbon is the dark blue, not like Azure pearl.

i personally think if you're going with a tC, go with white.
then again, i'm partial to white cars (even though i dont have one myself), but white is just a classy color and looks good with just about anything you throw at it.

good deal. thank you for the heads up!! I figured they would be cheaper to buy online, but I did not realize they even came painted!!! That is a crazy good deal! I am definitely buying the base model then.
Any parts I find that I would like/want afterwards, i will buy online and install myself. Im looking forward to working on this car a little bit, but nothing crazy. I did however bag my truck so i have a pretty good knowledge of how to work on cars. hehe
I think I will go with white if they can get one in for me. My first car was white and I loved it.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. Ill have to come out one of these days and meet up with some of ya.

Here is a few pics of my truck. It is still a work in progress as Im getting it ready for paint now.
Before I bagged it:

and now the little project i have going on:

sorry to ***** it up with pictures, lol. who knows, maybe someday Ill put my tC on air after the warranty is up! hahaha

Hey man, the chicks dig my Azure blue. And Mike, screw the warranty, it's a toyota. Ive had 4 Supras, a Vitz RS, a Matrix XRS, and now the tC, beat the snot out of all of them, never needed to use it. My tC is boosted, and have no problems. Except for rapid front tire wear. I do have to clean the melty rubber off the doors tho. I love that word, MELTY! You will love the Scion.

Hey Kovz, only thing I can say is with the inspection.... nothing is free. They will hit you up with $50 wiper blades and try to make you get brakes done way before they need to. Little crap like that equals a ton of cost if at a dealer. Take the deal on the new one but pay for the inspection when the time comes. It will save you more in the long run.
