Hey guys my last and biggest boat race is this Saturday Sept 27 at 9am. I hope that some of you can make it. You can watch from the river at Heinz field.
Let me know if you want to come and I can give you more details.

Only thing that sucks is I have to do my volunteer duty from 10-12 so I can't hang out with anyone for long after race. But Jeff will in in attendance an he can pick out my boat from all the other boats passing by.
can you pm me jeff's number so i can find him by text or whatnot in the crowd? or should i look for the "green monster"? LOL
or have him text me, i am seriously considering this if i don't get hammered tomorrow night LOL

Just did my first official drag racing Sunday. Didn't do too bad. I've decided that my car needs to be either rear wheel or all wheel drive. Just spun the tires for about the first 150-200 feet down the track. Didn't get any times tho, It was the Flashlight Drags. Boosters beware. Its useless horsepower!
hey chim, i read about an elderly man who passed away before the rowboat race... did you happen to see any of that?
also... how did it go?
and damn i can't wait til thursday... but first ... IT'S STEELERS TIME!!!

Rob where did you end up going?
Yeah the guy had a heart attack at the start line. I saw them towing his boat and giving him CPR. I didn't know he died until I red the news on Monday. The races were delayed for a little but because it blocked the start line.
But the race went well. Was not one of my best but it was not my worse. So the end of the season was AOK.
Now i'm debating on winter training to do dragon boats.
