I haven't been out to Western PA since I got divorced 3 years ago, my ex is from the Ford City/Kittaning area, so we'd get down into the Pittsburgh area quite often... I like the 'burgh much better than Philly, that's for sure!

only took me 3 hours. roughly. and i think i can fold out the couch into the bed for ya. my basement isn't as great as yours, but it'll make do.

lol Joe - I didn't want to comment on the 4 1/2 hours cause I was like holy hell that is long. I can make it to Lancaster in 3 1/2hrs. I have done it in less time.

Ok kiddies, the sun is shining and the weather is warm, which means it is time to officially resurrect our monthly meets once and for all!

As we know, it is impossible to accommodate to everyone's schedule so I'm just going to set this up and hopefully you can all make it out:

Saturday, April 24, 2010 @ 5:00PM
Dave and Busters
The Waterfront
180 E Waterfront Dr
Homestead , PA 15120

I figure we can meet there in the parking lot and then determine from there where we want to go eat or whatever. There is plenty to do in the area so we have many options. Going into D&B is not part of the plan, but anyone who wants to afterwards is more than welcome to.

Should be a fun time, hope everyone can make it out.

LOL... ok, I guess he did say not going into D&Bs... you're safe, Chimmy!

Well, I can't make April 24th, I'm registered for a car show at Maple Grove Raceway in Reading that day, just coughed up $25 to go to it...

So where the heck are all the Scion Dealer shows at this year? haven't heard mention of a single Scion car show anywhere yet this season...

I am so safe!! :-) Boooo for you going to a car show in Reading! What does Reading have that Pitt doesn't! :-p Don't worry Troy we will have more stuff that you can come on out to. I'll have to make it out to one of your meets when I'm around in town. (which will be every couple weeks this summer)

I'm game for meeting there. Not so much for going inside.

I plan on attending the cruises I mentioned previously.. If anyone is interested let me know.

Cylon.. I <3 Maple Grove. Went there a long time ago for a huge J Body meet. Placed third in my class. Let me know when you want to come out.. I'll be up for it. I do live with grandma though.. so I can't offer you a place to crash

Haha, well maybe Grandma needs some company and wants me to sleep in her bed, lol! jk...!

*Ahem* Back on topic - Actually, I've never been to Maple Grove, lived in this area all my life, and it's only about 45 minutes away, but this will be a first for me. looking forward to it, I sure hope the weather is nice that day!

Maybe you guys could plan something exciting(!) for either Memorial Day weekend or the 4th of July weekend - I'm free both of those weekends, got no plans yet for either as of yet...

I haven't been in pittsburgh for 4th of july since 03, however the city did have a killer fireworks show then. Not sure about now.

I really don't get out much, and I don't drink (which is all there seems to be around here) So What would you be up for?

Yeah, the fireworks here on the 4th are pretty awesome downtown.

Memorial day weekend is no good for me and m, we are headed out to Wyoming for vacation that week.

WHAT!!! We are going on vacation!?? HAHA j/k. but yeah the 4th has some pretty nice fireworks. Last year we had a really good spot on the West End bridge. Plus we were able to avoid traffic since we parked close.

Monica where do you usually go for the 4th??

I have lived out of state for the last 6 years. So nothing anymore. I'm thinking I shall journey into the city this year. Wish I still had my house on the North Side. I could climb out onto the porch roof and had a fantastic view of any fireworks lol

What does everyone else do?

Most people know but I do package design for your everyday products. Currently I work on Aquafresh, tums, nicorette gum and many more in the past I worked on all GNC & Heinz products. I enjoy it but it has it's moments. Lol

i think she meant for the 4th... LOL

i usually buy about $500 worth of fireworks and get the same amount free (love phantom fireworks) and combine them with my friends' at someone's house, and have a show of our own. mine, usually, is the most revered. i usually get a standing ovation for my presentation and amount of show.

i love setting up shows. makes me feel good to entertain.

HAHA Silly me!

Even Jeff made fun of me for my misunderstanding. But for the 4th we have been staying around Pitt. We go watch the fireworks. Last year we watched the fireworks than had a fire at our house and set off our own fireworks. It was a good time.
