Pulled over again..... not so lucky this time
One month since the first time I got pulled over in the tC, this time I got a ticket though. Nearly the same place and speed as when I got caught the first time. 63 in a 45 is what the cop told me, and then standing at my window says "Maybe I should write that on here" and scribbles 65 in a 45 in INK on my carbon copy ticket. Now I'm wondering if him writing the speed in ink on my copy instead of writing it on the original so it transposed through to my copy, can I get this thrown out??
I'm hoping he wrote 63 on his copy so there's a discrepancy, but either way....

I went to the police academy today (far all NJ people, you can try it in other states too) and the guy who ran the place said when you get pulled over as soon as u stop turn ur interior light on, put on your hazards, have your stuff he asks for ready and sit with your hands holding the top of the steering wheel. he told me the cop will ask you who told you to do that and you tell him you learned it while visiting the police academy and 99% of the time if you werent going 85 in a 50 hell just tell you to be careful and walk back to his car.
just a tip for you guys i havent tried it yet fortunatley

An update on the ticket....
Actually, I ended up getting a second ticket, again 65 in a 45 about two weeks later, so I was in court for two 4 point speeding tickets. After some harsh words from the judge, I ended up with Failure to Obey Traffic Device (2 pts) and Parking on Highway (0 pts). It did require about a month and a half of court dates, and a short meeting with the DA.
Now to take a defensive driving course to keep my insurance rates from jumping.
And yes, I've slowed down....
......slightly.......on that stretch of road
