Default Pulled over for the first time in the tC

About 20 minutes after I got done doing an led swap for infinity20k, I got pulled over. Cop was super cool and said if I could tell him how fast I was going within 1-2 mph he'd let me go. I told him I was prolly doing 60-62 (45 zone) and he told me to have a nice day.

Well it took about 2 1/2 months before I got caught, but still no tickets!

He had his lights on to pull me over before he even pulled out. I saw him and pulled over right away, I thought I was screwed. He only kept me there for like 5 mins and obviously didn't give me a hard time. I do live in a tourist area though, so being a local really helps, not to mention my driving record has been nearly perfect for the last 5 years. I have definitely been lucky

ur right it could have been a lot worse...

like the motorcycle cop that pulled over my wife and gave her tickets for tint, too many things hanging from her rear view and a logo banner on top of her windshield that was too big...

Since I moved up here from NJ last year I haven't gotton pulled over. The night I got my Megan Cat-Back put on, a state trooper pulled a 360 in the middle of 50 in Saratoga. Heh. But didn't get pulled over.

In NJ I only had one ticket. 71 in a 35. I was ____ed cause it was only (1) MPH over double the speed limit. If it was 69, it could have been better for me. I even got "pulled over" when I was parked on the side of the street. They said I was a "suspicious vehicle."

They searched my Mustang and found NOTHING. Thank god they didn't have dogs with them. lol!

The last time I got pulled over I was driving my wife's car and was dress like Robin (tights, cape, and all). We were on our way to a costume party. I bull____ted with the cop about being dressed like an idiot. We all had a good laugh. Then he gave me my ticket (51 in a 35). I thought the embarassment was enough . . .

been driving for almost two years now. ran a red light by accident. camera didn't catch. only mistake besides

this one which is the stupidest mistake ever. Not realizing there was a stop sign and following the car in front of me while the cop stares at me and didn't move and drove off. 4 way stop. lol. scared the crap outta me but its good to hear you have cool cops :D

I was going to work one day in Hunt Valley MD. The speed limit on the road is 30mph or something. I was behind a Mercedes going over 45 (who was pulling away from me), there was me and then a red ricey looking Civic hatch with a black hood behind me. The Mercedes gets pulled over, I get pulled over and the Red Honda is let through. He said I was doing 43 in a 30, asked for my license and registration, and asked:

Officer: "Have you ever gotten any tickets?"
Me: "Yes sir, when I was younger"
Officer: "When was your last ticket?"
Me: "At least five years ago sir"
Officer: "Ok, I'm going to let you go... just slow it down a bit k?"
Me: "Yes sir. Thank you"

I'm fairly certain the Mercedes got a ticket... he was still there when I left. This was the same officer that took my hit and run report a week or two before. I wonder if that had anything to do with him letting me go? (Some ying yang in a big green new SUV hit my rear bumper and took off. Luckily the clear coat was just scratched and it wasn't worse. Unfortunately, I only got 3 letters/numbers from the tag... M81 [MD registration])

its so refreshing to see that there are some decent cops out there.

i once had a cop write me up for 75 in a 55 (4 pts) as opposed the the 85 in a 55 (8 pts, and how fast i was actually going). i mean, he could have been nicer and not given me a ticket at all, but thats pretty big points wise, becuase that was shortly after my accident (at fault), so i think i might have been pushing the limit there.

I went to the police academy today (far all NJ people, you can try it in other states too) and the guy who ran the place said when you get pulled over as soon as u stop turn ur interior light on, put on your hazards, have your stuff he asks for ready and sit with your hands holding the top of the steering wheel. he told me the cop will ask you who told you to do that and you tell him you learned it while visiting the police academy and 99% of the time if you werent going 85 in a 50 hell just tell you to be careful and walk back to his car.
