Thats nice that im not the only one inlove with scion. I though was going crazy just talking about the car 24/7, but I havent buy it yet I got everything pick out for the car with out having it yet. Once I'll get it by May ima join da Club .

THANK YOU ALL. WELL I HAVE GONE TO TWO DEALERS AND I LIKED HOW THEY TALK IN TOYOTALAND. ITS IN RUTE 22 EAST, BUT I JUST DONT WANT FOR THEM TO TAKE ME AS A FOOL.

 

just remember - you're not gonna be able to get 'em to budge on the price... but maybe you can get them to throw in some free accessories

 

i have heard of people getting free oil changes for life as well.... just dont buy from ROUTE 22 Toyota... that place sucks (its where I bought my Scion from, I service my car in morristown for a reason!)

 

Thats good to know about the one in rute 22 east, ima try west. I know the price is at $17,780. I whent to one in rute 440 Hudson Toyota. They are the worse I have seen. First they told me that it was around $18,000 and that the 2007 had not come out yet. Once we got outside and I saw a Scion I told the guy, that the paper the car had it said 2007. He gave me a stupid answer "Oh waoh maybe it came today" lol I hate dealers like that. Im thinking of buying it by May like that it dont get dirty from the snow Plus I want to give at least $10,000 down.

i went to chatham toyota and they are a bunch of old polish guys selling cars. Back when I was buying my car, they were the same way. They didnt even know what a scion was. morristown scion is pretty nice, but they tried to scam me a couple of times on service. they charged me $600 for my 15k service...ouch! talk about their service department when buying a car... trust me it is important!

 

I think in all the dealers they try to scam. Ima try more dealers and see which ones the best I have seen. This time ima see hows the service department speacially that I want to add some parts but dont know if thell put it on the car. I want the neon lights but in red, and I believe the scion tc only comes in blue and amber.The only thing Im afraid is on the car insurance I bet for me its gonna be 8,000 a year. Ihe Scion is going to be my first car.

Damn, I better prepare myself. What insurance company you have? and why its so much. I heard century 21 is now making insuranse, and really low, but I dont know if thats true I just heard that.

 

hahaha, 4 speeding tickets (2 in the last month which has been a mojor discussion on scikotics.com), and one nasty incident where i had to choose between hitting a lady or a pole... state fam just kicked me out and i was paying $8000 a year! now im paying 4k with geico. keep in mind i have premium coverage of 300000/100000/50000

you will be fine. #1 ur a girl, #2 you have not done anything wrong...yet...

Just shop around for insurance. I was paying $2400/year with Allstate... Then I switched to Travelers - $1300/Year.

 

hahaha... i could have gone with progressive for 2400, but my family is all about going with a "reputable" company... which means higher prices
