well, a 2 door will always cost more than a sedan, but nothing side impact airbags wont balance out. IF your insurance company classifys the tC as a sports car, you MIGHT want to give them a call...

btw, it doesnt help to have a liscence for a long time if you keep on BREAKING the law! The other members of Scikos keep telling me to SLOW DOWN... I can't do it, and now i want to go TURBO!

 

Hahaha. $1300/year is after 2 tickets for me. 1 out of state, 1 in state but fought and won.

Allstate had the tC as a sports car. I didn't stay with them

 

So not all the insuranse have the scion as a Sport car? Well I have never got a ticket, maybe b/c I usually never drive

 

I pay about 1200/yr. Age, gender, and past tickets all play a factor.

 

THATS CHEAP, WHY THE GENDER MAKE A DIFFERENCE? AND IF I PUT THE SIDE AIRBAG WOULD IT GO DOWN?

 

In theory, side airbags is supposed to take off 10% of your premium (depending on insurance co.). Insurance Companies do a lot of statical analysis, so statistically speaking, female drivers under the age of 25 are safer drivers than male drivers of the same age.
If you're currently in school and have good grades, that could also help with discounts.

Fog lights are probably doable, stereo doable... other stuff I personally have never done. But breaks (rotors, pads, lines), Rear sway, shifter, I've done.

 

i have side curtain airbags... they lower your insurance... a worthy investment, but a pain to modify around if u want to do things like leather interior or a a -pillar pod... but still do-able!

I HEARD CENTURY 21 IS GOOD.
I WAS JUST WAITING UNTIL MAY AND HAD EVERYTHING PLANNED OUT, BUT NOW I THINK MY CAR DREAM IS GOING DOWN THE DRAIN. MY DAD DIED ON MONDAY AND NOW I HAVE TO BUY A 4 DOOR CAR WITH MORE SPACE. I WISH I CAN STILL BUY MY DREAM TC BUT NOW ITS REALLY HARD TO DO THAT SPECIALLY THAT IM THE ONLY ONE HERE WITH A LICENSE .
