Well, I figured it was about time to post up our little slice of heaven for the 11th!

Saturday September 11th, 2004 at Wilson Cadillac Toyota SCION (2212 S. Duff Ave) in Ames, IA.

It's the very first (of many, I hope) All Scion Show featuring the members of ScinergyIA!

We will start showing the cars around 10am. Those interested in showing their ride be at the dealership about 9am and we'll get 'em all washed up and pretty. All manner of cleaning products will be available to the club members plus vaccums and our power washer. Our detail department will wash them up or you can do it yourself if you prefer.

We will be grilling some burgers and dogs in addition to providing sodas. Unfortunately, this will be a no alcohol event. The unofficial meeting afterward at one of the local establishments will have all the adult refreshment we need.

Here's the best part for the participants (myself excluded, darnit!). Courtesy of the Wilson Parts Department, one lucky participant will be drawn at random to receive a "certificate" worth $100 for Scion parts or accessories. (can we say incentive to make the show?). Please note, "participant" means "car" in this case. Every one of our cars will be entered once weather you are personally here or not.

In addition to the parts giveaway, we will also have other prizes for the participants to raffle off plus free schwag from Scion while it lasts for EVERYBODY!

Test drives for all models will be provided all day courtesy of the Wilson's Trac fleet. All participants and visitors are welcome to try their hand at any of the Scion models.

Live DJs will be spinning all kinds of music all day long! Bring the family and make it a party!

Cars will be displayed until 4pm.

Those interested in participating, please contact me via email or pm. There is NO sign up fee of any kind to enter. All you need is a Scion and enough gas to get to Ames! Those interested in just coming down to see what we have for you, DO SO!

Here's everybody's last update before the show:

We will have over a dozen Scions for the show! DJs and food are all lined up for us. Prizes are set to go. AND...we have a TROPHY for a people's choice award!

I figure that if you leave Cali now, you could be here in time to wash up and show!

Hey, don't tell the California people about the trophy, if they show up the only Iowa person who has a chance of taking that trophy is Griz with his Hot Lava!! Have you seen some of the pics of thier vehicals? Our cars look pretty good but they'd look bone stock next to some of the CA cars. :D

 

Don't worry Roy. Those Cali plates'll be the death of anybody who shows up for people's choice

 

Also, I know you guys like my car (and thank you for the compliment), but there's a LOT of people not showin' the love for the lava. I hear some interesting comments during the day...

Hey, thanks Rodney! We'll all see each other's cars next summer, I think! I'm really looking forward to seeing all that Cali magic on your box and all the other IE guys'. We just need to get the Emperors talking to get this sucker nailed down. When we get it all hooked up I'll start designing the ultimate mod: xB KEGERATOR! Color matched of course .
