So, i was coming home with my gf and we're driving down this road in lowell and i see what i and my gf thought was a paper bag. Nope not until the last second and it was a freakin rock the size of 2 softballs. Bang drove right underneath it and my car bounced up, i pull over right away afraid i tore off my oil pan. I didn't see anything leaking, but i was too dark for me to see what damage was done. Two seconds later my gf's like call the cops and make a report in case something's messed up, you know for insurance purposes. Before i could really say anything i hear two really loud bangs. Yup the police ran over it and blew two tires and ripped out some pieces. I"m like damn, i'm glad that wasn't me. the cops were cool and he took my name and number and told me to get my car checked out and to call him to make a report if i had to. I got it home to the garage and i saw that i scratched the bottom, put a dent in my S pipe and i loosened what looks to be the skid plate towards the back. I"m going to put it on my friends lift to make sure nothing else happend. I"m probably going to file a report with my insurance just to get it new again. I freakin paid a lot for the Tc.

 

Haha.... the po-pos blew out their tires? man that must have been a huge rock!

 

It's funny cause i was thinking to myself on my way home from work today, if i hadn't hit that rock and saw it time it wouldn't have landed where it did and they wouldn't have popped there tires. Sucks though i got it checked out and put on a lift, i scraped some of the bottom pieces, dented a good dent where my down pipe and headers meet, and i bent the brace that covers the catalytic converter and i put a decent dent on my trd exhaust on the part that connects it to the rest of my exhaust. I might get my insurance involved, i haven't had it a year and i baby it, it was pristine till this happened.

 

that sucks dude. If it was a pothole you could get the county to pay for it Yeah man... My car is 6 days old... I'm mortified that it will even get a scratch on it.
