ok, ive been at work for exactly 12 mins...the boss is off today....and im bored to tears already....

 

my boss and his family (which is 3/4 of the work force at my office) where in England the week before xmas (his brother died)...now this week they are in FLA on vacation. its been awesome

 

Man i was bored the second i walked in the door haha

 

anybody here thats into cell phones ever hear of a company digital communications warehouse (dcw)? they are located in philly. they used to be a dealer/wholesaler for at&t wireless/cingular.

so i was -> <- close to being a scene in the next Final Destination movie...

on my way to work on 33 South (between 191 and 24..infront of me.there is a corolla, a F150 then some kinda old pick up truck with a blue tarp over the back...im driving along in the right lane going about 70ish...when i hear the *Ping* Ping* noise like little pieces of dirt/gravel hitting my windshield...i get to the left lane to pass the line of cars...just as i do so the blue tarp comes off the 1st truck and scrap metal goes EVERYWHERE! pieces the size of baseballs, tubes 10ft long, stuff the size of plywood. i slam my brakes on (almost getting rear ended by a jaguar) and get as far to the shoulder as i could (it happened on an over pass bridge so there was about 3ft of shoulder on either side) and creep by this mess. the guy pulls over and i lay into him with tons of cursing and sign language.

not a happy friday morning!

 

i think RT 33 is cursed in that area. i have a couple of (almost swimming with the fishes) stories from there just in the last few months.

sometimes i really hate my job. especially when one of the managers comes into my office to bullsh!t and then tops it off with "you've got the sexy librarian look going on today. dont you want to take your glasses off and let your hair down?" and im like "uhh, no." and he says "not even for me?" and im like "hell, no." a$$hole. people suck.
