maybe....i just put them on because they match the front and rear lip too....

 

try to find a 16v for less then $2000 that doesnt have a laundry list of stuff wrong. they used the 8V engine in just about everything.

U think if i get the paint you could do my front lip? I'd trust you with paint over most of the body shop guys up here.

 

There is one in allentown thats i havent seen moved in months but the exterior looks real good. Im tepted to ask the owner if he is going to sell or not. Im not sure if its a 16v or 8v. Im pretty sure its a MK2

 

The body styles are pretty distinctive... there's not really a box to check for "pretty sure it's a..." when discerning generations of GTI's.
