so im thinking about selling off some of my stuff on my car and im looking to buy a project car for drag racing just not sure what yet. Maybe a 93 5.0 mustang cause i have wanted one for so long.

Any suggestions on kinds of cars?

For the car itself im looking to spend a max of 2,300 bucks

 

if you want the fastest cheapest thing. buy a honda and put the biggest turbo you can on it. and then when it pops go to a junk yard and get another engine for $200 bucks and repeat.

or even cheaper...buy someone else's project hey didnt finish.

wait I lied the only honda i would like would be the crx

 

what about a 1st gen eclipse/talon/laser with the 4wd and turbo? though the DSM turbos are notorious for blowing up. but you might be able to find one that is already popped and rebuild it.

 

so there ya go. they are light as hell already. gut it, put some slicks on it and go racing.

you should come autocross sometime. at least to watch/ride. the next race is the 13th (this sunday) in warminster. race the girls yaris!

 

ah yes the GS-X i wish i could find one for cheap but thats like finding a needle in a haystack lol

I would def come to check out autocross, my woman would murder me if i took her yaris haha

 

look on craigs list. i found 2 hondas under $1k. a $2k Jetta VR6. tons of stuff.

you cant hurt anything. its just a road cone. on the 26th or 27th the race is at the Mac Truck HQ for the Lehigh Valley Sportsfest.

theres 2 im currently looking at.

the one is the car i posted at the top of the other page, a 1998 sedan deville, built by the fleetwood division. and the other one is a 2001 DTS. in 01, they redesigned the engines so the head gasket problems are less likely.
