i actually got some GPS based telemetry on my fast run. i will try to get it up tonight.

i have zacks fast lap also. its quite interesting to see. we drive almost the same line, his suspension and light weight make up for the lack of power. he was about 1.5-2sec behind me i think.

for a point of reference. my racing buddy tom has an audi S4. he ran a ~67, i ran a ~69 and zack was a ~71. my goal for the end of the season is to beat tom.

there was a honda fit racing yesterday. no reason you cant take the yaris.

here is a video of the course from yesterday. the guy is driving a Solstice GXP with the Z01 package. it pretty much a preped car. i dont think its street legal. he is one of the top 10 drivers.

 

64, 69, 71... MPH or seconds?

 

seconds. it took me a few runs to figure out how to drive the 2nd half of the course and get use to the tires. i know i left alot of time out there to which is frustrating.

top speed was about 53mph across the finish. if you watch the video the way out was fast. was about 35-45mph, then after the big turn around the way back was slow. after the slalom i was in the mid to high 20s. then right at the end it was foot to the floor which is were i hit 53.

 

I really want to see how well I'd do in my car...
