got a unichip from guy on scionlife but his was programmed for turbonetics boost. my 05 tc car has weapon r header and trd cai. n e 1 kno were a tuner in new york is? im around flushing and astoria most of the time. i checked unichip.com but there are a few tuners who are about 1 hr away ffrom me going and commin bak, BUT they have no fone number to contact them. so i dont wana drive an hr and waste my time. plz help!

 

your best bet is to call unichip directly.

 

i did! they gave me the number to a location close 2 me, Rudtners european auto. i called and the guy was literally like " huuuhhh i hate dealing with those things. ive got alot of work so give me your number and maybe i can do it next week" wtf??? i called about 5 or 6 more different dealers. bruces auto said he doesnt deal with unichip any more because unichip corporation is a pain in the ___ to deal with. ppl gave me the "gimme your number ill call u back" rutine. finally 1 guy about 45 mins away from me is willing to do it but he can only reprogram unichip to stock 05 tc meanwhile i need maps for a weapon r header and trd cai. n he is charging 100$. y is it so complicated?

Im pretty sure RIPP will only tune with Emanage.

 

i ended up paying 25 bucks to unichip thru paypal and paying 35 bucks for shipping both ways for 3 day ups. the w8 sux. spoke to tony who is the unichip tuner guy there and he said hes officially making some kind of self tuner kit were unichip owners can tune the device themselves. call 1866unichip for more info. wonder wat the price is...
