wow troy, really sorry to hear about your wheel. you're probably better off getting anew wheel and tire. it will be very hard to make the old wheel true again, even if they spin balance and throw a ton of weights on it to make it balanced.

Hey april I've been going to clara mangold's office for my taxes for years and they always do whatever is possible to get you the most money and cost to do taxes is about 75 I think. The only downfall is that it's in centerville but hopping on the highway it's not to bad. coming east on 30 get off centerville rd exit make a left at the light. go to columbia ave light and make a left, when you get to the light by arby's and the diner you'll make a right into a small business strip.. you go first left then right to the side of the building.. if you're interested I can track down the phone number since I'll need to be calling soon.

I've been meaning to ask the 2nd gen xb owners.. .how are they in the snow?? I might be looking into making a new bigger purchase cuz the 2 door and the 4 year old on trips aren't working well and my car is junk in the snow I might just get a beater suv with income tax not sure

I have a pretty good story from going to his shop on monday... My friend Ronnie was with me, and I dont want to promote street racing, - some dude in a mazda kept trying to run my tC - so I decided to let him have a crack at it... well, ronnie and I tore him up soooo bad, that he ended up shooting a rod through his motor (we could hear his motor knocking) and just watch black and grey smoke pour from his car.. god I felt bad, but we couldnt stop laughing. I know he must of thought he was picking on a stock tc... lol.....
oh yah, and then we went to "chubbies" for victory cheesesteaks..

thanks for the tip Amy! It sounds like they'll cost less than where i've been going so i might give them a ring. i'll look em up when I start to get my tax crap together.

lol there's more included then what you know. I posted I wasnt getting into cost. I mearly said contact the shop. I only posted pix of the box as a preview of my new setup.

You DO see that the little enclosure, which only houses one 10" sub, sells for almost $200 new... and that thing is small.. add a good sub, and your now at $300.

If you REALLY want to know - ask me in person. Id rather not plaster the net with how much Ive spent on part "XYZ". I didnt come in here to brag, I just posted teaser pix which apparently I wont do any more. Funny, cuz I was going to show previews of my next huge mod this week... oh wellz!

thats not what i meant at all, i was just hoping that you didnt spend that on a box alone, i mean its nice and all but i would expec it to be painted for that price, and i do fiberglass projects and even materials it wouldnt cost that much, i just hate to see when people get ripped off. im not saying you did since you wont tell us the other details so ill just take your word for it and dont feel that you cant share mods with us. we all have the same hobby and i wont even mention how mch i have in my car and its only like 40 % done

 

id rather pay more for something and know its built right.

theres about 600 in materials in my trunk enclosure. its not about how much you spend, its about how happy you are with it.
