MA-Local Discussion
sorry, Salik; coming into last week I was on call, so I was dead tired by the time Friday came along. I probably wouldn't have made it for a drive over 3 hours. The NH camping trip is right at the end of my week-long vacation; I wanted to plan that one way ahead of time.
haha im not saying that anyone needs to apologize per say, just that in general it would be nicer if more people would be committed to traveling for the few huge shows scion vip does for us, back in the day we used to have a nice group that went down.

George.. thought you were getting it for the campout..
I have to find time to drop off two stacks of flyers at the dealership this week before I leave to nyc friday. the flyers look the same as before with the updated info.

thanks anyways guys.
so i just found out yesterday that my car will not be completed until at least Sept. 4th
my car went in to Weymouth officially on June 4th
I don't really have a problem with how long it's actually taking to get my car done, I just want it done
but my issue right now is that Toyota Corp. won't compensate me for the time my car has been there while I am borrowing someone's car the whole time
I know it isn't Weymouth's fault but I need some feedback on what you guys think
Mike gave me his thoughts on this already
I would like to ask for compensation on the whole thing because I've been without my car for 12 weeks already, almost 3 months. I was supposed to get my car last Thursday/Friday. I haven't had a car to drive so I've been borrowing my gf's car. Now the problem with that is her cars have been racking on miles that shouldn't be there and her g37 is definitely racking miles that shouldn't be there cause I have her other car that she planned on using most of the time.Since, they claim it to be a warranty issue now, I feel I should get something out of this, I feel like I got stiffed a little bit.
I am not asking for money, even though that would be good so I can pay my gf back for using her car, but I am asking for like a voucher for car parts/service at Weymouth.
That way it looks good as far as customer service and for the dealership, they are putting their efforts into a car they are sponsoring in the team. I have been very patient as some of you may know, but I am getting impatient not at Weymouth, but at Toyota Corp.
I have tried my best to be civil about the situation and I am wondering what peoples opinions are on the this deal.
In the meantime, I have missed a few shows this summer and a couple of Scion VIP events. I missed the campout2 event, and now possibly the six falgs event if it happens in august
I've gotten into a couple arguments with the gf b/c the car is still there and she is getting really ____ed off how i am still patient about the situation
she wants me to go beyond just getting compensated, but i don't feel it's neccessary, at least not yet. I want to see how this falls in right now
but I am getting the depressed feeling of not having my car
I know that Miguel is trying his best to get the car done, but gf feels like, "since it's a warranty job, they will touch it only when they have time to", when I know it's not true
well let me know your thought guys, please.
it would be helpful to see how you guys would take this issue in my shoes
Mike, I understand that I should pick my battles, but it's kinda gotten a little ridiculous IMO

Sorry about the headache its a sad thing to see esp with a car as purty at yurs. I really couldnt say what i would do if i was in your shoes i have never had anything like this happen to me. Is this a engine rebuild? I cought little things here and there with what was going on with ur car.
