anyone help me with this im at my dads shop and i did the VHT nightshate on my brothers tail lights to his Del Sol and i put the gloss on there and wet sanded it with 2000 grit sandpaper and it came out foggy. Am i pushing too hard on the paper i put alittle bit of water on the light and SOAKED the sand paper it glids right over the tail light idk why its coming out foggy

 

next:
clear coat
wetsand (2000)
clear coat
wetsand (2000)
polish (buffing compound)
wax
done

 

ok yeah i clear coated twice and wet sanded in between the 2 clear coats ill try the buffing compound and wax em thanks!

good stuff glad to see everyone had fun sucks it was cold yesterday. BUT HEY PATS WON WOOT

 

benny use some 3m pad glaze on them,they have two different formulas,one for dark colore and one for light colors,get the dark formula,its meant do be used by machine but you can use it by hand,that should clear them up after wetsanding

 

jamie where can i find it? any auto store?

 

youl have to get it at an auto parts place that handels car paint.I(robbins,sanels) doubt you can find at like wally world.make sure you wax after this also
