i went against a VW GTI that run. that was my best run of the night. I went 14.1 twice and then the 13.6 was my last run.

 

 

i hate wearing a helmet but you have to wear it if you go under 13.99 . after the first two runs i was like wtf i know i can do this... people must think im stupid wearing a helmet. then at the end of my third run out of the coner of my eye i saw the time and started screaming... i was just alittle bit happy lol.

 

What year was the VW GTI ? Did it have any mods

 

not sure im not a fan of VW so i couldnt tell you the year lol. It was like 2-3 body styles ago so maybe early to mid 90s?I know it aleast had a exhast and was turboed.

 

Is it me but I feel like the Tc with some mods on it feels like in need a 6th gear

 

it just needs a 6th gear period... i am shifting into 5th right at the end of the run...

 

My ex girlfriend had 6 speed celica GT-S. Man I love driving that car and I miss driving it. Anyway last night when I was on the highway going up 93 north for some reason I reach down and I was looking for a 6th gear. lol I said to myself why am I looking for a 6th gear. It was like the car was asking me to switch to the 6th gear. lol

I always go to reach for sixth gear........and its there! Ok so that was mean ,but I couldn't help myself. I feel your pain on the LSD though. I just need to break down and buy one.

 

do any of your focus buddys run in the mid 13s? I want to line up against someone that does about the same time..

 

I'm not sure. I know one guy is turboed, but I don't think he is going to make it. I'm trying to get a friend of mine who has a 92 vw jetta gli with a 1.8t swap to come up with us. If he comes i'm sure he'll line up with you. I'm not sure what times he is running. He just completed the swap and the car is not dynoed and has never hit the track. I drove it and it is sick fast. I smoked the tires all the way through 3rd.

 

sounds like fun... the other night i was going agaist camaros and gtos.. and a turbo civic... those rwd cars take me on the launch and i never can catch up... but in the end they only beat me by 0.2-0.5 seconds..

 

fellahs and ladies.. just bought the redline performance chip on ebay.. i hope to have in by track time this weekend.
