I recently purchased an 06 scion tc automatic and i wanted a little more horses. So i went on trdsparks.com and saw they had a turbo for the automatics. It was the dezod s1 turbo kit w/5psi and the info said the kit will produce up 200-235 whp. So my question and concern is when i purchase the kit will i need anything else for the kit like a new set of headers and exaust? and my concern is even though it is 5psi will it still affect the tranny?

 

You will not need to purchase a header for the motor. The turbo manifold replaces the header. There are a few more things you should get with the kit if you want to do it right. The forced induction forums are a good place to search for what people recommend.
