Road conditions on NYC from North Carolina?

I was thinking about driving all the way up to NYC this New Years to see the ball drop but wasn't sure how the roads during this commute. Plus my car is lowered and almost slammed. Also wondering how the weather is usually around that time of the year.

COLD AS F@CK, as for the roads the suck but as long as you're careful driving you'll be alright. I'm lowered and I have friends that are lower than me and we're ok.
