How far is Ground Zero from LaGuardia Airport? I'm going Tampa in October and my friggin' flight makes a stop in N.Y. first and then it goes to Tampa.
The reason I wanna know is cause my flight will stop in N.Y. for atleast 2 hours so I figured I try to make a quick stop to Ground Zero.

without traffic i would say like 45 min to get there that if there is no traffic but knowing the city it would take you a good 1 1/2 hr to get there.

I looked on a map and it does seem far from Ground Zero. Oh well, maybe next time I'll plan a trip to the "Big Apple" and visit then, thanks.

I live in Queens and I can definetly say that planning a trip in the future is the best thing to do. Traffic in and around LGA during peak travel time is always jammed with taxis and black car service, plus the NY Mets have a day game and they sure to cause some congestion that day.
