Best place for 60k maintenance?
Assuming it's a Scion?
Steven's Creek Scion -Service Dept - in San Jose - near the intersection of Stevens Creek Blvd and Lawrence Expwy.
The Scion Sales / Dealership showroom is a pretty tiny building. The Service building is the small building behind the showroom with 2 garage doors.
Ask for Dave Gille.
He's got normal business hourse Mon - Thur 9-5 ( I think). On Fridays, he opens at 11 AM and closes at 8 PM. Scion people usually hang out with him on Friday evenings from around 6 PM to whenever he kicks us all out. You might want to call ahead to schedule an appointment. His workload varies quite a bit from day to day. Just call Stevens Creek Scion - they can transfer you to Dave.

yeah, forgot to mention i have a Scion xB.
I would assume the dealership is the best place to get it done in terms of quality but how much would it cost? Are there other places where I can get it done for cheaper?

Do you mean you want them to do everything? Like - buy the replacement fluids, filters, and parts, drain and replace everything, do the inspections, swap out anything that's worn (brake pads?), dispose of the old used fluids?
I don' remember exactly what's part of the 60K maintenance for an xb.
I'm guessing that the materials (replacement fluids, filters, and parts) would cost about $100 total. Labor - hmmm maybe 2 hours time. I dunno, $150.
You should just call up Dave and ask. If you want to supply your own materials, I'm guessing he'll take that into account.

typically Dave doesn't do big maintenance stuff like that and is done more at the main store..
which then would be, i have no idea on the competence of the people who work over there...
actually... outside Dave's shop.. i don't really trust many other people.. but if anything... Dave might suggest or recommend a certain person you should see over at the main store.
