Anyone know of good and reliable shops that can tune cars in the Bay Area?

 

tune as in dyno? that i am lost but a place for installs that i always go to is The Shop San Bruno www.theshopsanbruno.com

they are pretty chill guys and pretty pro with the installs

Speed element tunes, but they do EVOs and STI's....I don't know if they do scion.

I'm thinking about turboing my car, but don't know where to have it tuned at afterwards.

 

i would recommend rcrew i think they are in daly city also.

 

Prostreet in Hayward i nkow they have a dyno there as well

honestly i dont know how good there tuning is they did do and install for me and it was a good install but as far as tunning i dont know how good they are. when i was there i saw the dyno and they should have info on there site......www.prostreetonline.com

 

I just called R-Crew, they said that they don't do tuning. =(

 

NorCal is completely pathetic when it comes to installation and tuning of almost all aftermarket parts. It's near impossible to find people that will install stuff up here. My goal is to change that in a few years. ;)

 

Nor Cal has Tunedbyrbm that builds all the top notch cars around the nation such as Dara Sodano's ect.. put up or shut up, they have more best of show cars and awards than anyone speaks for its self..

 

Talk to Jei over at BlackTrax in Milpitas info at www.blacktrax.net those are the folks I trust!
There are plenty of other good shops around the best bet is to get your plan together and go with the one you are cool with on both communication and pricing you need to make sure you are both on the same page.

yea wahts wrong with prosteet i got something installed there some months back no problems at all

I'd try Raging Bull Marketing. Their website is www.tunedbyrbm.com. They're work has been great. They're a small shop, but I haven't seen anyone in the Bay do better work than them. I don't have their number, but they can be emailed at info@tunedbyrbm.com. That's how I got a hold of them.
