HIN was pretty damn cool last night. There was a whole lot of cool cars and cool people. Firsts time i had been to one and i will definitely go again!!! If anyone has cool pics please post them!

I will post some pics soon. Anywho, I thought the event was cool too. BUT, I dont think i have seen so many cops on the streets and not at Starbucks. It was CRAZY! I got pulled over and got a fix-it ticket for having my blue interior lights on.( I didn't know that they were illegal). And on top of that, there were a TON of people but that didnt really bother me cuz i didnt get stuck in traffic. Overall though, I would say though that the ticket added to the experience and that the night was a BLAST!!!!!

 

well your blue interior lights can be hmm... fairly bright and easily seen from the outside.... which isn't good...

like footwells? where they can't be seen? oh yah.. they're fine..

yea.... you just gotta learn to get around traffic too.... i knew i saved myself over an hour of waiting to get on the 92 heading back to the show from SFO (had to do a family thing and leave mid-show)

by just taking the next exit...
wow.... people can be such sheep...... BAAAAAAA...

anywhos... after i was done with the night, i left right before the awards ceremony (so i didn't catch the winners...) and my friends were like realllly hungry and yeah.. beating the crazy rush to leave..

but even when i did... there are always cops..... there were about two people pulled over when i was heading back to the freeway.. and another just directing traffic.

ohh.. and neothin... i'll try to get you a copy... typical ncca BS though...

The show was ok, our Scikotics crew showed but the way it was set up they had us seperated....some cars in the one building, others in another building and another building and outside. They catered to the Subarus, Hondas and cars like that and they even held their spots when they rolled in later while we all got there together and rolled in together earlier. Most of the people that were outside have paid to be inside and then there were those who paid for electricity who got stuck outside, I really hope those people get reinbursed.

As far as the show went, it was the usual disrespecting spectators who sat in people's cars and took stuff from the displays....little punk @$$ kids!! And then having a DJ in each building where people are jumping and dancing too close to the cars....so wrong!!

I hope that it won't be like this next time...I'll have to think about it if I want to show at HIN again. Our crew did have fun though, just showing our cars was the best part and of course hanging out with our friends

 

I thought most of it was lame and they were great at screwing people over spots.

Just glad I got to hang with my family.

i did not show (kinda new to the import show circuit and i wanted to check it out ,i have a VW Show car). my car is all suspension right now so there is not much flashy on the car right now except for the rims. But all in all a cool experience! i went early (around 5:30) and there were not that many cops out. the whole ride there and back i did not see one cop. But i did see two helicopters on the way home!!

 

I didnt know you could pay to be inside. i thought it was first come frist serve

 

My .02 is this: NCCA got a power trip and let it go to their heads. I've been to HIN where most everything went smoothly, and unfortunately this year was NOT like that. It was great to see alot of really smokin hot cars..... and yeah the JDM Theory girls were among my faves, the girl in the 1st pic being the HOTTEST one of them. (Mainly because she didn't try so hard or feel like every photo needed to be of her ___.......)

So anyways.... I am sorry for those who showed and got screwed over parking wise/ electricity wise... but it was nice to be with friends.

It did suck however to run over a goddammed glass bottle in the parking lot!! I hate it when people just leave that lying all over the ground, as if it's so hard to put it in one of the MANY recycling receptacles they had.

Oh yeah and the food was overpriced. LOL Corndogs were good though.
