I just use some Dealer plates which allows you to be able to drive it without insurance or being registered. haha Cops have seen me driving around and simply give this puzzled look and i just creep off. haha They dont seem to bad on it here.

what would you have to do to make it legal over here? I mean people import all sorts of rhd cars. so what is different about this one?

the only issue with getting it legal would be smog and safety such as the bumper's i belive it has to be a 5 mph bumper,,,now also th estate you live in is were it hurts and how you get around the loop holes..i know cali laws says it has to pass smog (but after talking to dmv they told me that most cars from japan pass with no problems its the euro cars that are hard, next would be the safety.i was told that you can do the repairs an convert the issues t over to usdm standards ..then the paper work that has to be in order.. ive also talked to a carb ref and i was told that the engine would have to be a motor that is here in the states..but do not know if it is true i do know that few of my b16 90 teg buddys have carb stickers for the 90 integras but that motor is in the states in the del sol and civic..well thats why i want to move back to kansas city no smog no check nothing just ship the car ya want go to the inspection station they make sure the headlights blinkers work and bam you re good to go!!
