Yea if i can generate enough interest, i can actually special order parts in japan and bring it over in a container. I need people to show interest because i dont want this to turn into a flop. I know everyone wants to know how i do it but please don't ask just for the sake of me having to answer them. haha But yea, parts such as tail lights, grills, etc etc. Thanks everyone!

it has virtually nothing to do with smog . it has to do with dot glass and us standards bumpers .

any japanese car newer than 25 years old is a pain in the butt BY FAR .
to truly make it legal it'll cost approximately 15 grand . and you have to submit one for crash testing .

getting it shipped in as off road only , or show car use only , or using a dealer plate are easy ways to cheat but they can seriously RAPE you .

hotox05 most f the issues ya talk about are only a big issue in cali ,,,big_hungry would most likely not be asked about any of that ...i know when i lived in kc all ya did was a inspection and the inspection was not really a inspection he looked at my car and was like ooh it's still looks new, i said yes, he goes does everything work? i said yes, he says ok 10 bucks see ya next time that was it..other states dont really trip or cry about what you do to your car only in cali..$h!t kansas don teven have a law to wear a helmet while you ride your motorcycle ya think they care about your car??

actually it's federal standards is what i'm saying . TRUST that .

is it easier to register in other states ? YES .

I'M TALKING ABOUT FEDERAL STANDARDS AND REGULATIONS. AKA SAFTEY REGS . NOTHING TO DO WITH CALI.

I'M TALKING ABOUT WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN WHEN YOU TRY TO PICK IT UP FROM THE PORT. NEWER THAN 25 YEARS IS A HUGE PAIN . YOU CAN GOOGLE WHAT CARS ARE LEGALLY IMPORTABLE , WHICH CAN BE WITH YOU DOING THE LEG WORK AND WHICH ONES ARE NOT LEGAL . AKA NEEDING SHOW CAR USE ONLY REGISTRATION OR OFF ROAD USE ONLY BOTH OF WHICH THEY REMOVE ALL VINS FROM THE VEHICLE.

THE BB IS ABLE TO BE IMPORTED IF YOU DO THE LEGWORK AKA CHANGING WINDOW GLASS , BUMPERS , AND YOU PROVIDE ONE TO BE CRASH TESTED . SINCE NO ONE'S GOING TO WANNA DO THAT YOU HAVE TO GO ANOTHER ROUTE .

NOW CALI IS ONLY HARDER AS YOU HAVE TO SMOG IT AND THE DMV ADDS ANOTHER HOOP OR TWO TO REGISTER IT (NOT NECESSARY WHEN YOU USE DEALER PLATE AKA CHEATING , LOL.)

MY FRIEND IS A CLASSIC JAPANESE CAR IMPORTER ....

Im not too positive if its a direct swap onto the Open deck Chassis but i was looking at the telemetry of it and think that a yaris suspension may fit. We had a Yaris we were gonna race out and had a full race suspension ready to go along with a K20 off a RSX type R but we ended up aborting the build. haha I was thinking of throwing that on as a set of coilovers. But at this point with this car, everything is trial and error for me. Well..not really. Its just that no one has this car here and has not done anything with this chassis. Just got to do more research from Japan. haha
