Here is the FINAL Road Rally Schedule--the first 50 cars that respond will be allowed to participate in the actual Rally. Everyone else is invited to participate in the car show at Mandalay Bay following the Rally. See below for the timeline.

About a month ago I sent you an invitation and tentative schedule inviting you to be a part of our Barrett-Jackson Road Rally event on Wednesday,October 7th, 2009.We have confirmed our FINAL Road Rally schedule.
Here is the FINAL timeline for our Road Rally:


12:00pm—All Road Rally participants arrive at the Gold Lot across from LVCVA (Las Vegas Hilton)North of Convention Center Drive-WE WILL ONLY ACCEPT THE FIRST 50 CARS THAT RESPOND BACK FOR CAR CLUB PARTICIPATION IN THE RALLY (however we inviteany number beyond 50 to participate in our car show described below). Road Rally participants will need to be in the Gold Lot and checked in no later than 12:00PM. Line-up will begin at 1:00PM, and will depart for the strip at 1:30PM.


1:00PM—Participating Road Rally cars line-up. Road Rally participants will receive 2 Thursday tickets to the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction that is being held on October 8th-10th at Mandalay Bay Events Center. Every car showand Road Rally participant will have the opportunity to win great prizes.


1:00PM-- Those individuals whose cars are not participating in the actual Road Rally should bring their vehicles to the Car Show. ALL CAR SHOW PARTICIPANTS MUST BE IN PLACE IN THE SOUTHEAST MANDALAY BAY PARKING LOT NO LATER THAN 1:00PM. We will have staff to help guide you into the lot and park.

1:30PM—Road Rally begins on route Convention Center Drive to Las Vegas Boulevard, then will head to Russell Avenue into the Mandalay Bay Southeast Parking Lot. The Rally cars will then enter the lot to join the other participants.

3:00pm to 5:00PM—Barrett-Jackson will host a car show that is open to the public. This will include Food/Beverages, entertainment., activities and possible judging of vehicles by Steve Davisand Gary Bennett of Barrett-Jackson.


Please provide me with the correct name of your club, as well as the number of cars from your club that are participating so that we can easily identify you for check-in. Wearing items of clothing such as hats or t-shirts are encouraged on this day to represent your club being at the Barrett-Jackson Road Rally. Also, all vehicles in the Road Rally need to be REGISTERED and STREET LEGAL.

I think it'd be great if we could get some Scion representation out for this Road Rally, and a great reason to head out to Sin City for a long weekend.

This is before SEMA... SEMA show is a month later...

 

As of right now there are no fees to enter. We are currently in discussions with the City of Las Vegas, so as soon as I find out a final schedule and information I will post it for you. Thanks everyone for your interest!
