Its not going to be cheap @ a dealership. Call stevens creek back and ask for Dave Gillie. He is a scion friendly tech, and the only toyota tech I trust to touch my tC.

Back in the day when i got my S/C installed, it was only $800, but that was at Tracy Toyota where I bought my tC and bought the S/C (and it was the month that the S/C was released)

Yes, he is at the Stevens Creek Toyota, in the service department. Make sure to ask for Dave Gillie, since there is another Dave that works in the parts department.

you can take it to maita toyota here in sac. it was where i got mine installed. they have done over 7 of them at least. cost me $900 and i insisted on a free rental for the day which i recieved so really it was more like $800. oh and ask for the orange team if you do. thats the team that did mine. for almost half the price of what your quoted in the bay i think its worth the 2 hour drive from san jose

-sac isn't too far of a drive since my rents have a house out in rancho.

-from the looks of it, i think capitol toyota in san jose quoted me for $913 for about 7-8 hr job, they've done 2 of them. and they are just like 10 mins away from me.

-i did call dave gille, but he wanted to help, but couldn't do too much for me. Still I think he is amazing guy if he is being refered by other Sl members, grats to that.

-now im just gotta get paid, which means the SC is going to be just sitting in the living room collecting dust for now
