Default Looking for a good alarm/stereo installer in the SF Bay area

Well, I just joined the ranks of scion owners and picked up a Black Cherry TC on Thursday.

After much searching and reading on this and a couple other scion forums I figured out the following:

1. I need to get a new head unit so I can still use my same xm reciever/tuner from previous car as well as have rca outs for my sub and more EQ flexibility.

2. The Hornet 727T appears to be the best option to be able to use factory remote with an aftermarket alarm.

I pulled the xm reciever/tuner etc along with the amp/sub from my old car and have the Hornet and new Pioneer DEH-P4800MP HU and dash/wiring kit on the way but I really would prefer to have a good installer put it all in.

Franks in Berkeley is the only shop I've talked to so far so far that really seemed to know what they were doing but they are seriously pricey.

Also spoke to a guy I found on Craigslist who has does mobile installs today who said he could do the work as well but it makes me nervous to have someone install an alarm who isnt affiliated with any real shop and probably won't be around for too many years.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks

Mike Hong at wireless world on stevens creek in the south bay does great work. i trust him completely with my car unlike most big corporate places like good guys or bestbuy (dont get me started on them...) He has great prices and knows the tC insides out. PM me for his number... i think its also on wirelessworld.com.

he does everything from custom work to headunits. give him a call and see what he can do for you. if not dave at stevens creek can give it a shot, but he works for scion... and aftermarket alarms arent always the easist thing to intsall.

I ended up installing the new deck, xm and my amp and sub myself but wasn't willing to take on the alarm so I went with the Audiomobile suggestion and had it done there.

I was very pleased, they knew exactly what I was asking for, used the alarm I provided and did a quality install.

Price was half of what it would have cost me at Frank's

Thanks for the tip krsfx!
