We are not very happy with Scion Corp. We arrived at 2pm Sharp. Just like they said to. Was the 4th or 5th Compnay there. Well me being the nice guy i let the people that needed electricty go first. We didnt need electricy. Upon entering the park Scion Corp told me there isnt any room left for our booth. We are very disipointed with Scion Corp and there unorganized effert they put in. We do understand that the space was free. Also Scion Corp invited us! We were one of the biggest Manufactures there and with 5 Sponsored vehicles in the park, we are totally disapointed We couldnt showcase our products. They did let our car park inside. It was the TCM with carbon hatch and carbon hood right next to the bathrooms .I had recieved a couple of PM's from members on here asking if we were going to be there. This post is for them and why we werent able to showcase our Monster Motorworks products.

 

i still dont get why they moved all the booths and cars to the smaller part of the park? last year when they had it by medusa there seem to be alot more cars and booths.

i came home with only a hand full of freebies this year while last year i needed to carry a bag with me

Wondered where you guys were at? It was weird and insane, I agree, especially for the vendors and cars... as they came in last, unlike with, or first last year...

Back story wise, Scion and Toyota were going head to head with Marine World guys too about it all... (We tuned to the radio traffic and listened in)

This year had to have been a learning experiences and I hope that next year vendors go in first and lack of room is left for the display / feature cars to sacrifice for and all the vendors are taken care of well.

 

yeah... me and a few others arrived around 12:45.... didn't get inside until about 3:20-40-ish?

the whole organization was convoluted this year around....

placements of the vendors, cars, and display were somewhat odd and then yeah... a few heated discussions amongst scion and the marine world guys kept it busy and stressful.

will definitely need to figure out more things beforehand.... to avoid further complications.

 

How about next year they hold Scion Night somewhere else?

Maybe a big open parking lot somewhere

 

LoL.... it'd be cheaper, but the appeal for non-owners and promotion effect would be so little, it wouldn't make sense... it's a great idea to rent out a theme park, let people ride rides, see a cool concert and check out Demo cars and Scion Vendors...

It's just a tough undertaking and was surely tough to work around the animals and minimal space...

The park was set up differently this year, and that I believe was due to the fact that the center of promotion activity was around the concert in the theater area, so the other aspects made sense to consolidate around there... but did result in a space pinch for sure...

 

i was looking for a booth from u guys too. i had some money burning a hole in my pocket. lol.

even though they tried to revlove everything around the concert area i still think the space by medusa would have been alot better because even though the concert was big and all medusa still attracted most of the crowd as well.....and more open space =/

 

I thought that we(Vendors and show cars) were going to be farther in the back. That area was just too small for us.
Chris, I was wondering what had happened to you. I saw your box and couldn't find you when I did leave my booth. I had people asking about headers and was trying to send them your way. Dude!

 

Thanks for the push MMW way. Yeah all my booth stuff was in my car still. Couldnt even pitch the Weapon-R tent.

 

Next time, tell me man. I will glady show off the product for you. Hope you still went on some rides though.
