my tc got hit on the back by a drifter!!!!!
right now my car is parked on the jeep body paint lot, the tow truck was paid off already. but i really want it to be moved at toyota next door.. but this time il be paying for the truck
.. i wasnt really thinking about it. its just i got in accident and i started feeling auto-pilot.
im not really worried about my rear, its just my front that got launched hitting a tall pick up. all the parts in the engine bay just start going everywhere by a little bit.
and as of now there's still no police report has been made.. and im getting more worried.

.. Maybe its just me, but I'm lost. How could you have been hit by a drifter and have that degree of frontal damage? Were u pushed into a parked pickup in-front of you? Regardless of what happened, I'm sorry, it sucks. And the "auto pilot" mind set and everything.
You need to call your insurance asap, and it would not hurt to call the police and let them know what happened. Give them the other guys contact info, just so you can have something official for the other guys insurance to go off of.
The longer you wait, the harder its going to be

yes.. my hand brakes wasnt on.. and i wondered about that myself.. they said they guess that the pick up was close.. and the hit on the back was HARD it took off my bumper and hit my hatch
they said it was a mild hit.. it missed my bumper thats why my grills took the damage up to my radiator..
they said they've seen worse in the same situation

Tomas is right (as usual). You need to report this to the DMV. You should have gotten a police report also. You are lucky that the dude had a real insurance company. Kilo6 is right also--you can take it anywhere you want. Keep records of any expenses (towing) you incur because of this incident--you should expect to get paid for them. There is in fact a practice at some shops of using non- OEM parts--you should insist on the real deal. You should get at least a couple of estimates, and you need a guarantee on the work in case you get paint fade or someother problem later on. You need to insist on your rights..........
well you're really a kid. sorry about your car. man you should bring your car wherever you want, you have the right to do that. and your biggest mistake was you didnt called a police when you got hit.
damn, too many accidents for scion tC, our insurance might probably go high again next year.

Sunnyvale Scion/Toyota has a huge repair facility, but I don't know if they do their own paint/body work. You should try to get a whole bunch of quotes and show the other guy's insurance the most expensive one, then take it to some body shop that will work with you on a body kit, TYC lights, etc...

like ichiban said, youre better off now getting a cf hood bodykit and that because itll cost almost hte same... maybe even cheaper because factory stuff is expensive. i know when i got rear ended, my new bumper was around 800. for that you can get half the kaminari kit really. hahaha so look up prices. get a quote for what it would cost to repair it back to stock. see if there is any frame damage and if the insurance wants to total it. i reccomend repairing it but thats just me. go for the aftermarket stuff because itll be cheaper. if you do go that way... look for polyureathane (sp) not fiberglass...
just my .02

First off...
In the State of Cali, it is your right to take your car to the shop of your choice! They can't tell you where to take it!
Second, if there isn't any frame damage, chances are the car is not totalled. It looks like and sounds like you just have body / parts damage. This is all reparible.
So, find a body shop that your comfortable with and tell the kids Ins Company that your taking it to YOUR body shop!
